I'm vegan but I hate these celebs jumping on the bandwagon for the sole reason of making a fast buck.
If you want a genuinely good vegan cookbook from real vegans try the BOSH boys
There is no such a thing as a happy vegan
Got a funny feeling that the book may taste better than the food?

I bought it for my wife, she went vegan a while back, I was very resistant at first, however I have been trying the odd meal here and there and have actually found most of them quite enjoyable. Not sure I will go 100% Vegan anytime soon, however I am definitely more open than I was

Would love to know where folks are finding this cheaper to vote it cold, if it is available cheaper I'll happily cancel my order, so please share links.

I don't thik it's the price, maybe meat eaters or vegan haters voting cold. I have learnt that votes on here aren't just about the price!

Not just about the cheapest price, it's whether it's a hot deal or not. I mean, If this were £19.99 or £29.99 (but still the cheapest price available) would you expect it to be voted hot?

Personally I think over a tenner for a recipe book is a bit steep.

Probably because as already said this is more about a celebrity making money than it is about vegan cooking.

I bet she's never even read it. A few tens of grand to her agent so they can use her name and a quick photo shoot for the cover.

Judging by your vacuous statement, it seems unlikely that you know many vegans and, if you do know any, with an attitude like yours why would they be happy to be around you?

I am not a vegan but I at least respect their choices.

Nothing rubbish about it at all. Plant based dies do NOT contain all the essential dietary requirements of vitamins and acids to maintain a healthy lifestyle without the need for additional supplements particularly Iron and B12. There is also no proof that a VEGAN diet will lead to a prolonged life void of illness. Mortality rates are no different to those who eat meat. Do some research yourself !!!

Lol. What a load of ol rubbish mate. I am vegan and I have been for the past two years. I am yet to take supplements like you are mentioning here. Do you know where B12 comes from? They are in soil. Most animals you eat have been injected with B12. Plenty of plant based milks have B12 fortified. Meat eaters and vegans both need to check their B12 intake. 38620164-9MjiI.jpg
There is no proof? One of the largest studies ever been held, that ran over decades has proven vegan diet is the best diet for humans (see China study). Humans have a longer digestive tract than carnivore animals. We are more like gorillas who eats plants than a hyena who eats meat.

Your statement that plants doesn't contain essential amino acids is incorrect. ALL plants contain FULL amino acid profile but in varying propotions. So if you eat enough whole foods like legumes, beans, rice etc. you will be perfectly fine. Don't spew rubbish which you know nothging about and scaremonger.

lol another classic unresearched comment. The only reason meat eaters don't need B12 supplements. is because the animals eat food that is also supplemented with B12 hence meat eaters are just consuming B12 that's been filtered through a dead animal rather than getting it directly from the source. Whats the name argument, plants have feelings?
Pure VEGAN rubbish. That's the problem, you refuse to accept what doctors/science know and advise because you can't bring yourself round to accept reality !

Must be an island big enough full of plants to shipwreck you all on and preach to each other about how healthy and wonderful you all are.

As for scaremongering VEGANS are the worst for trying to ram their nonsense down our throats about how cruel and heartless meat eaters are.
