Get 100 seeds from China for around 2 dollars
I am slightly confused that a venus fly trap and a razor would be paired up but these are fun so I'm going to heat it up.
love this just ordered and razor good too!! bonus
I've had venus fly trap plants before and they're amazing - but really tough to keep alive.
I'd imagine it's going to be even harder to grow from seed.

Not wanting to put anyone off - you'll get a huge sense of achievement if you manage it.
Just don't get your hopes up...

with this in mind, anyone managed to successfully grow from seed and what are your tips for doing so and keeping it alive!?

I really want one of these

They are essentially bog plants so plenty of water is key, try and simulate their natural habitat, had mine for 5 years now and still going strong (although not from seed but same growing conditions). To help the seeds on you should create a little cloche with a bottle cut in half and placed on top of the pot, this should help with the temperature and the humidity, just watch for fungal disease!

I pinched this from another thread. Hopefully it can help....
Edsaid:
I would be careful here, flytrap seeds need to be fresh, and the seeds, bar tomatoes, I've bought from China before have all been of some random weed.
For those interested, they can grow in the UK without hassle, but need pure rainwater, decent soil and light, and no fertilisation.
