All of it is incorrect.
Guess what, most people cannot afford to buy fresh food for their cats.
Of the major brands, Felix is no better or no worse than any of the other brands.
So in full answer:

A. It is cheap (the only fact you've got right and hence the reason it's a posted deal) but no, it's not nasty (oh, it is cat food - well done, second correct fact).
B. No, it's not being cruel to your cat at all. There are 101 ways of being cruel to a cat. Feeding it cat food is not one of them
C. No, the meat is not rotten. As you'll no doubt know, all foods are graded and the food used to create cat food is graded lower than "human consumption". But no, it is not rotten
D. Felix have no need to be ashamed, based on your untruths.

What would you recommend?
Unfortunately the only cat food my pair will entertain is the 'As good as it looks' version, anything else and they won't even go near the bowls.

Well said my man! My cats love Felix, not a fan of Whiskers but this deals not that so its all good and heat added
My kitties ADORE Felix. And Whiskas. And Sheba... and my food (they've tried, they failed! HAHA kitties!)

Will be putting an order in, thanks

Meat content of Felix 4%. you are what you eat!!

PS. its not about money! I have bought Felix and found the food was smelling after a few hours. since the meat is as you pointed out low quality/ Not fit for Human consumsion.

As is the meat content for ALL cat food at this price range. As I said before, most people cannot afford to spend £10/day on their cats - they don't love their pets any less, but they just cannot afford it. Cats will not touch rotten or bad food, cats can tell if food is "off" long before a human nose can tell, so simply put - if all this is made from rotten food, hundreds and thousands of cats would not eat and enjoy eating it.
All cat food at this price range is made from food considered not fit for human consumption - if it were fit for human consumption then it would be canned and packaged at 10x the price and sold....for humans.
No idea what you agenda is against the company - you are just posting complete rubbish. I've not zero agenda defending them, zero connection - but don't think it's really fair to see unchallenged, false statements.
POOFA - You're like a stuck record every time these type of deals come up and tell how us how your superior cat only eats Sheba.

Pet food is not considered for human consumption, hence why humans are not expected to eat it, but pets are ! Your argument is pointless, but clearly that's all you're here for.

Pet food is graded of a lower quality than food designed for humans, however it is still perfectly safe for your pets to eat and even if a human did eat it it probably wouldn't harm them.

Millions of cats will happily eat this. Cats don't eat food which doesn't appeal to them unless they are starving. I would hazard a guess that 99.99% of cats that eat this are not starving.

ALL cat food/fresh meat/fish will smell if left out for hours, NOT just this cat food.

Personally, I won't be buying this as AGAIL sometimes comes down to this price level, whereas this is the regular version.

Lol. The cat food is of a poor standard. What point are you not understanding? Hopefully they will see this and make it better!

I'll give you a hint on how much Meat content is in Sheba, 4% its the same as actual meat content as Felix and Whiskas. Its probably made in the same factory.
Cheers OP. Bargain. I've never seen my cat leave any food in his bowl to start smelling?

Any sources to back this up?
In my personal opinion this is a poor quality cat food.

Didn't you get the message that no one is interested in 'your personal opinion'. If you've got any FACTS, we'll be more than happy to hear you out.
Almost all well known cat foods are a minimum 4% meat content, even the so called 'luxury' brands like Sheba,Gourmet Perle etc. They are just dressed up to appeal to the consumer to think they are a better product.
Brands like Applause ,Lily's Kitchen etc are better quality in terms of meat content but much more expensive.

Great price. My cat loves Felix 😋
Great price and my cats love this, my last cat lived to 19 years old on this stuff so it must be good
good price I usually keep some about for emergencies and to mix it up a little.
coming out at £1.65/kg with the 15% SS though as mentioned you can get AGAIL for about this at times. However this is now.

I pay about £2.30/kg on chicken breasts in 5kg bags which is what i usually feed mine. My cats have no issue when they get this instead. The meat content of <any> pouches is always questionable. For me it was the amount of rubbish that is generated. 9 pouches a day x7 and the cardboard etc amounts to quite a lot of packaging as opposed to 1 plastic bag for the chicken.

Pooka, can you please have a word with my cat? She scoffs Whiskas sachets if I blend them for her but is not too keen on Sheba domes, vebrisse and Lily's kitchen (even though she liked it at the beginning)! The first 2 have got whole shrimps and shredded crab/chicken breast and look so nice I wouldn't batter an eyelid if it was served to me in a restaurant.

Researches eat cat/dog food to make sure it'll appeal to the pets. There was a documentary about it on BBC, if memory serves me right.
