A good saving, but I can't help thinking it's a bit of a gimmick - these aren't actually going to make you any thinner!!! I've been through all these things over the past few years and had a bit of a lightbulb moment recently that it doesn't matter how much I spend or how hard I go at it for the first week, unless I actually stop eating crap and exercise more in the long term then it's never going to happen. Aiming for just 1lb a week now, because it's so easy to do, requires very little effort, and although I'm not going to see results fast, if I'd done that 10 years ago rather than mucking about with the latest fad diets, gyms, fancy trackig devices and the likes, then I wouldn't be thinking about it now.

I got a fat measuring set of scales for £14.99, and a pedometer for a quid - probably only worth the money if you'll really use all the features. If so then it's probably a decent saving.

Good luck all!!

I hear what you are saying but the thing is people do invest money into diets. I think it some how makes them think they are putting more effort into it and even being sceintific about it when it comes to tech like this. I do think being able to decifer what is fat and what is water etc is very usefull though. And graphs are a great way to see how you are going on a diet.

Word of warning, when you're downloading your info off the scales onto the memory stick to take over to your PC - be careful not to somehow accidently end up on dominos.co.uk
