Won’t give you quads of steel though will it
That’s a lot of a road bike for your money. The power meter alone is a few hundred. I’d be tempted if in the market for one.

Yawn - ignore the comment from a “non-cyclist”
Great bike and impressively it's the current R8050 groupset as well for the price rather than an older one, a power meter is unusual at this price level too.

No.... just balls of steel

But you will look daft as you sit queueing in traffic with your car going nowhere fast as the cyclist flies past you lycra and all.

Not bad but similar spec Giant available for £400 less

No power meter though
Edited by: "SpamJavelin" 20th Jul
In case anyone is curious, this comes with a 52/36T chainset
Phew! No size 56 available. Otherwise I would have had to buy this. This is a great buy with these components!

Good spot, too. I'd argue the Mavic Ksyrium Elite's & power meter make this better value per pound spent. But, if those things don't matter to you, £1600 for a Di2 spec bike is excellent value for money.
Yup, can't disagree with that. This is a great deal for some who will use the power meter, I couldn't be without mine now.
11-32 cassette would be better if using for hills.

Always been fine with an 11-28 and cycled plenty of hill uk and Majorca.
£10 off a spend over £50 to new accounts too

Great bike, Felt must be getting rid of stock at the mo as the deal I posted earlier on the FR4 is similarly good value.

For me I'd rather get the TCR Advanced pro with mechanical Ultegra and the improved fork and wheels than the normal Advanced - is Di2 actually any good? To me it just seems like something else to go wrong on a bike :/ Don't really have any issues with normal mech shifting.

Yeah, no benefit to having a corrosion free bike in the UK. The always wet and gritted roads of Spain however....
Great bike if you are looking to become deliveroo guy. You will cut your delivery time by 1 minute at least. Boss will be so happy that payrise is guaranteed.
M_L20/07/2019 11:13

Should try descending at 50mph on this

strava or you didn't hit 50

very true. the only people who can afford these bikes are the chubby belly alan sugar types. They will never admit they need the better gearing. see the post after yours

peaks at 42 mph as far as i can see. most kids from padiham did 42 mph down pendle hill on their rally grifters in the 80's doing that.

Funny how actual pro motorbike racers cycle for fitness. When I go to local bike cafe most bikers are of the FLOB (fat lads on bikes) variety and look to have the fitness levels of a 1970s working men's club member. Most of them probably lose a second to 60 in fatness.

When I used to have a VFR400, I remember being able to easily keep up with one of our gang on his ZXR750 as the fat bstard weighed 17-18 stone.

If you're keeping up with someone then they aren't rate good, or indeed you are... nothing to do with weight, me and the missus weigh 25st but can still hover around 'sports bikes' with rakes on... and she's slowing me down!

Unlikely - just a random informed comment I would think. No carbon in the Uk, I’ve heard it all now
