I used carpet gripper treat with fence preservative (left to soak overnight)

Fit when dried out, last years and a lot cheaper

anything that does a job well is a deal for me and they dont crack like …anything that does a job well is a deal for me and they dont crack like cheaper ones do

I may buy a bottle of milk later on today, it will do a lovely job of making my coffee taste better, should I post it as a deal?

We tried some plastic spike strips on our front fence, didn't seem that effective against cats, most didn't seem to like them, but would still climb over and walk along the top of the fence.

This is a site to save people money, just remember that.

It's best to post a deal when an item is at it's cheapest, rather than just because it's a good product.

I was just giving the ops a option if they have a small area to cover, rather than shed out for 50 pack
Just trying to help others out with small areas to cover, not being critical about the deal.

Make sure that you clearly display a sign if you use these, grippers, broken glass cemented on etc.
Before any of you smart alecs comment that cats can't read, and to be honest the literacy skills of your average burglar probably aren't too high either, it's to protect your arse when the little scroats try to sue the pants off you for hurting them!

Surely this is a site to find the best deals, and if this is the best price now and you need it now then its a good deal, wish I had a penny for every time someone says "yes it's been cheaper before so get in your time machine and go get it"
If you have a cheaper/better alternative then tell us?
Used carpet gripper on the top of the wall covered in dog poo. Only once did i hear aggghhh, followed by UGHHHH.

Don’t think that would stand up in court.

I said it's best to post a deal when it's at it's cheapest, not that it's a must.

I was just giving some advice to the op about what the best type of deal is.

Mate, if you need to use these i suggest you move neighbourhood or buy yourself a good gun.

I did a similar thing but put silicone and pepper on the edges hey presto the local feral cats no longer use my garden as a toilet but gripper rods are the best thing and a doddle to put up and if anyone tries to break in they will soon regret it

The odds on some clown saying I cut my hands trying to rob your house are slim to none! personally I would stick 240v through it too
Dosen't work with cats.

Nobody can possibly know when an item is at its cheapest though can they? You could post something today and find it reduced tomorrow, so best deal is the cheapest price now, not last week or months ago, and as I said they are no time machines so this is the cheapest

RSPCA have managed to get prosecutions against people who put up spikes which end up hurting pets.

No, a normal sign wont, but if its on an "A" frame or has a strut at the back it will.
These work with dogs too. I've not seen a single one walk along the fence.
I have these on a 6ft fence and our next door neighbours cat defiantly walks along it like they were not there.

My neighbour made a complaint that my gripper rods had damaged his cats paws and i was made to take them down by the council , i have these spikes up now and the small warning sign . These are very good and a visual deterrent to any numpty thinking of climbing over.

Russ - this should be on a review website, not a money saving website.
