Better paying an extra £36 for the 5X
Just the size of it... not sure if it will be too big?
Its the same size as the Fenix 3 HR , I actually prefer that size to the Fenix 5 but the 5s is definitely for the small wrist though.
damn... was decided on ordering the 5, with the 5x being £36 more it is a no brainer! But.... my wrist is too small for the 5x, but I'd hate thinking later I should have gone for the x! Can't even go into a shop to check the fit! Carry on like this and I probably won't even end up ordering one!

Isnt there a blacks or Millets near you?
Just measured my wrist and it appx 18.5cm to 19cm, which is average but if you have a smaller wrist of say 17.5 below then it probably wont suit the 5X

Thanks, I've just mine, didn't realise how small my wrists were, but they are 16.5 to 17cm... actually 17cm leaves a little wriggle room. One thing I can't train for size! Anyway, thank you for that, kind of seals it there to a 5.

I'd just come across another site for info (in case others are thinking the same) and it recommends a 5s for my wrist size! Definitely not going there!

Presume RP that you have the 5x? Any thoughts or comments on it so far?

I have a 3HR and got the 5 for £385. I sent it back to Amazon. It is a nice watch and if you dont already have a 3HR then Id recommend it but for me, I preferred the size of my 3HR. The strap on the 5 felt really cheap rubber and if you want to change it, it will cost about £40/50 . The 5 doesnt have wifi. I didnt like the lack of charging cradle on the 5.I did prefer the User interface and screen clarity on the 5 though but the 5s still has the same screen resolution as the 3.
I am currently waiting for Amazon to sell the 5X of which I am sure I will keep as it has even higher resolution than the 5 plus wifi plus maps.

Thanks appreciate it. 385 does seem a bargain, not sure if the sapphire is worth the difference but i might sleep on it especially as it isn't available at that price for now.
No idea why this is so cold. Been on the look out for a deal on the 5x so this is prefect. Thanks for listing. Heat from me

Just to give you an idea. Here is my Fenix 3HR on my 6 3/4" wrist. Its the same size as the 5X. It is big but I like it like that, especially when you are out n about using it. The Fenix 5 looked ok on my wrist but I prefer the larger size. A 5S would be too small for me.

What did you decide in the end OP.

The choice and rather the decision was to go for the 5 sapphire version due to my puny wrists ... then i stubled on the 935. A slimmer lighter plastic version of the 5. Couldn't decide so i will take your advice and head to a retail store before committing. Appreciate your advice btw, thanks
