Fenwick Newcastle is open Boxing day? I have never known it to ever open on Boxing day.

It's normally open on boxing day. Think it was shut either last year or the year before though

Another family owned business that has succumb to money making on Boxing Day

I have looked on their own website and sure enough it is open 8am to 6pm, but I don't think it has ever previously opened on Boxing day, not even when the Toon were playing at home on Boxing day - Newcastle City centre is usually pretty quiet on boxing day with only a handful of retailers open for business (always Next), compared to the Metro Centre where pretty much every shop is open.
