Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) has an uncanny skill at cutting classes and getting away with it. Intending to make one last duck-out before graduation, Ferris calls in sick, "borrows" a Ferrari, and embarks on a one-day journey through the streets of Chicago. On Ferris' trail is high school principal Rooney (Jeffrey Jones), determined to catch him in the act.

Maybe you have to be the same generation as the actors to get it, but I always felt this film was overhyped.

All kids should be required to watch this before they leave school, along with The Breakfast Club. 😁

Love the art gallery scene with The Dream Academy instrumental cover of Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want.

Flame me with more heat than the hottest deal of the month, but this has to be up there with the most overrated films of all time.
