Think I'll go and get some more..bought some yesterday in Sainsbury's for around the same price and they had to do an age verification check at the till (I assume it's the sharp objects inside rather than me looking dewy and youthful).

Picked up some luxury ones in Sainsburys today for £1 (90% off)

Thanks for this, I also got one pack in sainsburys today but I like to have lots of crackers for family dinners in the run up to Christmas and New Years day dinner. Makes it more enjoyable for my children when numerous relatives descend on us. I've bought these ones and the 4.50 ones which I've heard have very good grown up gifts in them like salt and pepper pots, ( they must be big crackers). So now I have plenty to put away, thanks very much.

I think it's due to the dangerous explosives when you pull them

This made me laugh:
You must be 12 or over to buy this item.

oos

We had these at christmas - they're not worth a pound let alone what we paid for them!

Half of them were missing the "gift", and the gifts we did have were utter crap!

I use to spend a small fortune on christmas crackers better looking gifts but they still mostly ended up getting chucked. I buy less expesive ones now, guests still have fun anc I dont feel like I've wasted my hard earned money. These ones would be great for kids.
