did the renault one last week - really glad I did didnt really like the car too small in the back could reach behind and touch back seats

Thanks. I've registed for the Megane one in a couple of weeks, but might as well give this one a go. Especially if its over the weekend.

Well spotted - thank you.

Thanks OP,.. heat n Rep

Good spot. They did this before a few months ago too.

Did the Megane one a couple of weeks ago. Very good service, but car was a bit wishy washy. Still can't complain for a free loaner!

I gave the same feedback after my test drive! Also the handbrake on the megane faces away from the driver for the sake of a cup holder! AHHHHHHH! Glad I had it to cross it off the list of possible cars for the missus.

whats the deposit you pay?

hey

I don't suppose you know what the min age is do you?

Thanks

AD

It didnt say on the form I filled in, why not just fill it in and see what they say?

Nice find! Is it possible to get an Abarth edition?

Are Renault still running 48 hour test drives? Is this only on certain models?

tried to do this last time they offered it-
dealer was very reluctant to offer the deal-
kept saying no free cars available - i gave up in the end, as got fed up with chasing them
no wonder the car business is in the mire

shame - its a nice looking car, but will probably depreciate faster than a speeding bullet - and will fall apart as soon as the warranty runs out.

Does anyone know if there's a mileage limit?
I've gotta drive from Newcastle to Brighton and back on the weekend and could do with saving the miles on my car

Does anyone have the link for the renault one?

what age do you have to be to get this test drive?

Make sure there is no hefty insurance excess on it just in case of any accidents, or it could cost you a lot of money just for a 48hr test drive.

I think it's over 23, because of insurance

i guess i'll be waiting for a couple of year till my next 48hr test drive.

you lot don't ask for much !!

Bet you want a full tank of petrol too :):-D

FIAT
Fix It Again Tomorrow

:-)

lol not so long ago i would have argued that....

my 1st fiat coupe 20vt was superb. 106k on the clock, on its original turbo and still pulled like a train up to 145mph - was getting a little scary above that so never hit full wack

i did 45k in it over 3 years and it was rock solid.

sadly my replacement has been a total dog so my faith in Fiat has waned somewhat

Quite the opposite in fact. Dealerships are currently having a fantastic time. Granted, yes, the new car sales market is on it's knees but, used car sales are booming and more than making up for the low new car sales.

still no contact from a local dealer... looks like I'm going to be adding fiat to the "no thanks list" Question is can they afford not to follow up leads in this day and age (my wife is actually shopping for cars at the mo.)

Car manufacturers know that some people are reluctant to buy a car on the basis of only short test drive. Quite sensibly they offer extended test drives, but then they fail to organise them properly. Rather than leave it to the dealer network, why don’t they take control of the whole process themselves.

COLD.

had exactly same issue with dealer in sheffield penistone rd. Dealer did not want to play, tried booking me for three test drives of OTHER cars before they would allow this.
Gave up on them.

Thanx nice one!

R & H added!

signed up to this the other day. came outta work 2day and i had a voicemail from the fiat dealer asking me to get in touch, gonna ring up 2moro and see if i can get it for the weekend

I registered for this and the dealer called me.
It sounded ok until he said there was a milage limit of 60 Miles with a charge on top of this for each extra mile. He did say an age limit, think it was about 24, but not 100%.
In the end I declined it as 60 miles is nothing and he said they would be sure to charge your card the excess.
Be careful! Real shame as the Megane one was great!

60 miles! I live 35 miles from a big town, lol.

nice ,will give it a go.hot hot hot

I havent heard anyting from FIAT yet, going to fill in the form again

had an email from my local dealer so i replied saying its was a48hr test drive & got 12 replies all saying the same thing please find it below .Did reply again and told him i was surprised my detail had been forwarded to him if they were not participating . Hope someone gets a chance as Lexus & Reanult were both good fun .

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately we are not a participating dealer in the Bravo 48 hour test drive programme however, if you are looking at purchasing a Bravo (new or used) we will be very happy to arrange an accompanied test drive in an appropriate vehicle.

Please let me know what sort of vehicle you are interested in driving / buying and I will make the necessary arrangements.

Still waiting 3 weeks after requesting. No wonder the car market is on it's knees

I've never heard anything either. We are actually in the market for a car, so it's their loss!

Hey,

I entered my details and got a call from someone who told me the 48hour test drive stopped last year, they did offer a normal test drive with the local dealer, but not a 48 hour one : (;-):x

Got a call yesterday, and was informed that the test drive from a local dealer is now just for 24 hours.

Funny, 20 hours later and I get a call that the test drive can only last ½ an hour...
