Triple Black,, what an awful Nikeism
Triple Black,, what an awful Nikeism
Back to 124 :/
not needing these, but if you havent tried this brand before, i would defo SIZE UP by one size on your usual. i am a 9 in Clarks, Asics, Teva, Hi-Tec, Geox, Merrel, Karrimor, Crocs, Fenchurch, Diesel.... but a 9.5 in adidas... but in salomon i had to get a 10, the 9's were really REALLY tight!
took a chance on 10.5 for £85 delivered, reading reviews they are tight fit, if not I will send them back
Brilliant boots, comfy from the start and never had any issues with them.
Great advice i had to return my size 10 and have been waiting a year since for the price to drop to buy another pair, sadly i have just seen this deal and no size 10.5 or even 11 available, thankfully got the North Face boots posted here for £72 and they are great !
If you press it you probably activate the south face mode ;)
I actually quite like the look of the jumper, looks quite smart, but that logo..my word..what were they thinking
Did some one say
Wow. That is poor design. But no doubt some chav will buy it
Maybe they had a pile of badges meant for rucksack's left over in the factory. It's all good though as they found a home, superman will be jealous
sports direct own field and trek. same price?
i am still using my "ancient" forerunner 205. Still Works like a dream after 8 years of constant use rain or shine. Good spot OP
Was never impressed with my Garmin forerunner, very sketchy GPS lock. Would often take 3/4 minutes stationary to get a signal. Maybe I had a duff unit.
Cheaper @ Sports Direct
Pay a little more and get a 220 or above (or even a 25/35) if only for Bluetooth sync. The ANT+ stick syncing gets very old fast. CeX do the 220 and 620 as low as £60, used, sure but still good. With Bluetooth sync since my 920XT and Fenix, I wouldn’t go back, Garmin Connect app is good. e.g. https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SWEAGARFOR220B#.WfBmmOPTWEc
Will do. It's out of stock again so looks like I bagged the last one. I've only bought it for a bit of fun and taking on hols.
Tell us your thoughts on it when you get it. I think my main criticism would be the lack of height adjustment on the handlebars and lack of quick release for turning the handlebars. But the first criticism probably gives a weight saving and the second probably improves safety. Because I'd looked to see how much the Dunlop sold on ebay, ebay came up with this suggestion. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/391392295264 Getting on half the weight capacity at 65kg, 2.5kg heavier at 14.5kg and a single gear. Dunlop definitely seems a bargain to me.
Back in stock, and ordered
I glad that's not your bike. The forks are the wrong way round, pointing in with the brakes facing the rear! This is a safety pitfall of buying on-line or boxed for home assembly where the forks are turned in to reduce the required box size. We informed someone recently we saw riding one like this (a BMC mountain bike from Evans Cycles) and sorted their handlebar, brake, forks and cable routing for them. He said it was juddering a lot when trying to stop on the large hill just outside work...
The Merrell Intercept shoes I bought last week from Amazon for £40 are £79.99 here.
Average prices, some are even expensive - low end models mainly.
Don't forget these are small. Usually with merrell you need to go a size up. Great boots though.
Nout special, yes some 50% of retail but that converts to about 10% of normal price at best. Not marked it down or up.
Ok, nearly bought these Merrell Ridge Low GTX Mens Walking Shoes £39.99 from £109.99 but delivery 4.99 put me off don't need them anyway lol but free delivery or free C&C I'll need them oO
Just for reference. I received my shoes today and all is in order. I personally haven't had a problem with Field & Trek online purchases. I did read some of the 1 star reviews in the links you posted and I have to say, quite a few were for daft reasons and really not warranted. I can't speak for their customers service department as I've haven't had the need to use them.
I'd rather walk in bare feet than give any money to Mike Ashley :)
I can only comment on what I have bought recently, but the X Ultra 2 GTX mids and Quest 2 4D GTX I got from GoOutdoors have been spot on, as were the XA Pros I got from Wiggle. Maybe every now and again Salomon make some subpar stuff, it doesn't sell, and the likes of SD buy it all up years later and sell it on. All that aside, £45 for a pair of XA Pros is a good deal, as it's a tried and tested model which goes for £60+ in most places. As it goes, I'd rather spend £60 and shop elsewhere than give Mike Ashely any money.
If that is the case then there's no wonder that plenty of stock is left I fear a drop in standard, the stock in Wynsors is'nt up to scratch either. Maybe Its me but I've bought plenty of Salomon gear over the years but lately I'm losing confidence in it . I bought a windproof jacket recently again at a reduced price from CRC and again the quality isn't up to what it was.
Interesting. That is a Salomon Conquest GTX, a design from 2013/14. To be honest, from the pic it looks exactly the same as when they were being sold back then: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9T6S9qfu1w8 Looks like SD have bought up a load of old stock on the cheap.
what season are these? look very nicer but will they be too hot over summer?
Yep I thought the same, really wanted to get the Hampton. Figured I'd have a look at this for £22, and if not happy get the Hampton anyway, but all being well I will save £40!
looks a good price , you missed out on a very warm Hampton , but they ain't cheap . have a bit of heat from me
Thanks, ordered two. Been wanting these for a while.
I have the 6 and it's a fantastic tent. Brilliant for family camping
sorry sold out..........
Link doesnt work
I have the 10, fantastic tent
It's the only measure we have so better than nowt!
HH2200, no thanks
It's down to £87 today (plus postage) I've ordered one to be delivered tomorrow and hopefully tested at the weekend.
Not true. It poured it down most of the time on our 2 weeks in Wales. Terrible weather. The tent stood up to all the weather that was thrown at us. No problem.
2000 is the utter minimum, to be honest, I wouldn't buy a 2000hh, if it properly rains in the night, you will likely get wet. After a few uses and its' waterproofing is down on new, it'll not survive even a day of light rain.
Mine is 6000 hh though I try to avoid camping in the rain so never tested it.
I'd camp in it.... Wouldn't take the kids in it at only HH 1500!
Pretty good deal. Surprised nobody has cracked the usual 'now is the winter of our.... ' joke yet. I suppose it is still summer though.
No women allowed? oO :p
I've seen these in Sports Direct and didn't rate em at all.... They look really cheap, nasty & poor quality. They're gonna be £19 with delivery and they're not even worth that imo.
Don`t think they are waterproof, I have the Gelert waterproof mesh type I think they were about £18 at sport direct These are a bit bright but mine were the charcoal ones cheaper in store when I bought them http://www.sportsdirect.com/gelert-horizon-mens-walking-boots-182155?colcode=18215591
Yes, I have ordered from SD, Sweatshop and Field And Trek many times - all positive experience, items are great however I ship them to EU outside UK, but that doesn't matter.
Blacks are not owned by Sports Direct they are a part of JD Sports Fashion Plc,
And I have walked 500 more, na, na, na, na ...............................
Blacks ain't owned by Sports Direct
Wow, that's stretching it a bit! I suppose my shoes are 3 in 1 shoes too - wear the left, or the right, or both at once! You could also use this jacket for bullfighting, as an umbrella or as a picnic mat, so they should really call it a six in one! ;)
If it's just for dog walking get some Karrimor Hot Rock. Waterproof and very comfy for the price.
Voted hot, can't choose between the speedcross 3 or the lady voltara, need something waterproof when walking the dog that are more comfy than my merrells.
Forgot to mention, thanks for posting the deal. I've been waiting for some salomon deals. I need to make sure I'm getting the proper sized speedcross before ordering. As said, good post. Heat added.
Not sure myself but this link looks more detailed. http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/salomon-snowtrip-premium-mens-3-in-1-jacket-p306675 "3 in 1 means, The fleece, the shell or the fleece and shell" was my boyf's explanation (he used to work in an outdoors/snowboarding shop).
Expired. Price now £40.
£40 at sports Direct
Looking at the reviews on Amazon it seems that you may be better going half a size up from your normal size.
two pairs ordered, I normally pay around £75 for my salomons one thing with these they have a narrow base compared to the trail running trainers, I only know because a mate of mine wears them and they are a lot narrower, heat though great spot..
I have these in a mens fit, not great for running the sole is too thin and little ankle support
Only in size 8 :(
Showing 60+ for me :p
Yep. looks like spam to me. Cheaper at Amazon.
