What relevance does Fifa have to the end of the football season?? The new game will be out in October do that's a better measure. I wish this site had to option to dislike comments sometimes.

fifa 12 at this time of year should be 15 quid, special ed 20-25...

thisis overpriced as its nearly out of date....

no hot vote sorry op

there is demand for this at 25quid
the guy saying that some asda games were reduced to 25quid but couldn't prove it got ripped to shreds basically by people whining they wanted fifa

Maybe, just maybe, and bear with me here, it could be because FIFA is a football game.

The price of this will plummet once the season ends, hence the relevance.

I phone 2 stores today and visited 1 and none had the game at this price, even when they scanned it. That was around 10am

not really relevant - its true the value will plummet but its not true that people aren't willing to pay 25 for it.
demand and lowest price = hot
personally i bought fifa 11 for 98p and would never pay for something that would go 'out of date' so quick but then the site isn't all about me is it?

well considering I paid £3 more than this the day it came out 5 months ago, this is cold. Every other game would have been worth ~£10 by now!

Thanks OP, heat added.

Just got the last 1 at Bradford Bierley (according to counter staff) Shelf edge marked up as above.

You are always going to get the same old posts with deals like this. Whether it should be £xx by now as it's been out 5 months is irrelevant. Is this currently the cheapest you can buy this for? Yes, so it's a deal.
Tesco is still £44.xx and the the cheapest I have seen in a store recently is £35 at Game/ Gamestation.

Thanks Peter, this is why I posted it and I'm glad it helped someone. It's the cheapest available as it is still holding its value.

If you bought it as a pre-order or at launch, well done, but it hasn't been that price since.

Yes you can buy Fifa 11 for 98p, but I play online only, so this wouldn't be much use for me, I need the code (thanks EA). There are still plenty of people playing Fifa 11 online too who are not too bothered about out of date teams.

There were lots of copies on the shelf in Cambridge for both formats.

Last Fifa I bought was 2010 World Cup (which I quite liked and was better than the full 2010 game) but thought I'd look at the price of Fifa 12.... was surprised to see £25 being the cheapest for it new. It's six months old, I thought it'd have come down a bit more in price by now, even second hand copies are selling for £20 on ebay.

The problem is you need the "online pass" to play online (which comes with a new game) - EA's money making scheme - once it's used that's it. If you buy 2nd hand, you need to buy this on PSN/Marketplace for around £8. That's why FIFA 11 2nd-hand plummeted in price once the new season was here - no one will buy the pass, so you're stuck playing offline. If that's what you want then fair enough, save some cash
