Mr Shed - You need to have an account for that region - playstationlifestyle.net/201…on/ - for the steps if you need them.

So long as your PS4 is the primary device for that account, all users on the machine will be able to play games purchased for it.

Ok, that is quite a lot of downvotes. I'm genuinely asking here - what is bad about the offer?

I was about to purchase it but the sheer amount of disapproval is making me think I might be missing something.

As far as I can tell, it's the cheapest the game has been for the console since launch . I know it can be a faff setting up & funding a US account if you don't yet have one, but awkward workarounds are half the fun of this site.

The only other downside I can think of is that you might need to make microtransaction purchases (FUT coins etc) in dollars, but for me that's just a good reason not to give into my desire to waste money on them.

Possibly people have their accounts on a friends and a friends account on their console so they can game share. Having a second account on another region doesn’t allow this to work

No wrong with it apart from it's FIFA. I bought fifa 17 on canadian account and had no problem with it. I never spent extra penny for fifa or any other game so can't confirm how microtransaction works but in general there were no problem to used it on my uk account.

No disrespect but I think it's just the fact it's FIFA. Some forget it's about the price, not game. And other regions can put people off
