Poor price. For switch version for £30 from gameseek
Does Ronaldo hand deliver that edition?
Who would pay that for a game never mind for a Fifa game.

Interested in this but showing as £47.75 from what I can see
Does it come with an ornamental football, art book, soundtrack and steelbook? Should do at this price!

I'm buying it so I can have it on the switch.
Nobody has it on the switch, so that point is flawed here.

Although I do think people need to stop buying it every year. If they did, EA would bring out sequels at a more respectful pace like what happens with most games.
Plus they could focus on bringing out new games. So I agree there.

Each year the could just release dlc to update for the new season. With an entirely new game every 3 years or so

That is my exact thought.
The DLC for each year, or a season pass for around £20. Which can go towards supporting servers and update support still.

The issue is that EA have an excuse to release it every year, as sports generally do change each year. But people need to stop supporting them so much.

Well my 10 year old son cant wait for the next instalment of 'The Journey' so I'm happy to invest in the franchise as I know he'll be playing it for the next 12 month.
It's not that I don't like FIFA or even think it's rubbish. But releasing a game every year with minor improvements is excessive.

They could be investing in a larger variety of games.

At the moment, except for indies, there lacks a variety on Xbox and PS4. Mostly FPS or other adult rated games that have excessive violence. There are very few AAA games that are child/teen friendly. And I don't mean games aimed at kids like Lego, but like the huge selection they have 6th gen (ps2) and before.
Enjoyed FIFA since N64 but it's really bad what's happening now en.m.wikipedia.org/wik…ing

Not trolling, just making buyer's aware what they are getting

"Now"?

As in, since games were invented. Pretty much actually states that in the article. It's not a new feature, nor is it a feature that will ever disappear from games.

I dont get why people expect FIFA to be radically different every year. They probably get about 6 months development time before they have to start optimising, testing and ratifying the changes. That's nothing in software development. Look at AAA titles and they take years and years to create.

It's the price that is the problem, as others have stated DLC every year and a new game every 2 or 3 would mean much bigger and better changes and more revolutions than evolutions.

I dont mind paying £30 a year for FIFA, the hours it gets played its better value than some £5 titles i buy and end up playing for an hour and never picking up again.

A software developers 2 cents
I pre ordered this and was emailed a DLC code...

What does the code get you?
Has anyone had the payment taken as the full amount without the £5 off? Just had it today.
