This game does not need an introduction. Pretty much the only reason I own a PS4.

£2 will be removed at checkout for prime members.

Remember in "The Day After Tomorrow" where that guy guy falls through the shopping centre roof to a cold, harrowing, splattery death?

That's how bad this deal is going to get. And cold.

oO
Had to put a fleece jacket on before I read this deal
This will be £39.99 at Amazon very soon just wait then few weeks later £34.99 then £42.99 lol
A sports game that cost nearly £50!!? Same copy paste like every year. Worse than CoD
Ronaldo edition £74.99 lol!!
Amazon do : Pre-order Price Guarantee: order now and if the Amazon.co.uk price decreases between the time you place your order and the release date, you'll be charged the lowest price.
I guess you don't get £2 off the cheapest price though, this should def be sub £40 before release
Cheers OP - would have missed this - order two for ebay before they notice pricing error and picked up Ronaldo edition for myself.

Best deal on here for ages.
fifa 16 preowned 1,99 game
fifa 17 around 15 or so...

so why buy fifa 18? overpriced and fifa 17 + 5% improvement, when you gonna learn?
Seriously, £47.99 is considered a deal worth posting? I think some people don't understand the concept of this website, it's to save money, not to be ripped off
This is £2 off RRP... in ANYONE's world that's a deal....

it's a steal... in fact fudge in Nick I'll keep it myself...

seriously... surely people can see a tongue in cheek deal when they see it...
Anyone who still buys these games full price is a pillock.

EA games are a rip off in general. I used to buy FIFA religiously for about 15 years up until 2013, mainly out of habit. I'd play it a few times, realise it's the same rehash crap, then it'd sit on my shelf collecting dust.

I'm now buying one every few years now, and only when it's sub £30.
It's 2017.... EA bashing is soooooooooooooo 2009....

EA access, Moving away from charged DLC....

Also what do people actually want from a sports game... FIFA is now a pretty solid simulation of the game of football... what do you want them to do?

It now has full stadiums from premier league, last year has a story mode, solid management engine (probably the area that could do with more depth).... much improved stadium atmosphere, sliders that can be altered to improve what the player wants...

im not sure at this point what radical changes people are after... same with PES... where PES was miles and miles behind for a few years it has caught up and now people pick between their fave - which is VERY subjective...

but what could either do to make it much different??

yet if FIFA or PES announced they were skipping a year there would be an outcry...

all sports games suffer a similar thing (infact all yearly titles do)

How about they just give us a free update with all the players (from transfers) changed over? Then every 3 years, when there's a "big change" they can charge us £40 again?
But why would they do that when millions of people will literally throw their money at EA

again... this is 2017 why you hating on just EA... LOL....

Millions of people enjoy the yearly updates... why would they stop it???

I HATE and I mean HATE any type of ultimate team type mode that seems to have infected all sports games... I think they are a major rip off and dont do anything for me... (i can using the squad editor create a dream team if like).... but i understand millions pump money into those modes... i dont campaign to have them removed or hammer companies for adding them in...

There is demand for yearly sports titles and even though that actually might limit the progess people snap them up and enjoy them for hours on end...

I know I have probably played sports games more than anything else this year and played them far more than i have for years....

I have the option to skip next years and edit rosters/squads etc fairly easily to make them up to date or i might just buy the newest...

I still play Arena football from the Original Xbox and NCAA basketball 10 (last in series) and NCAA Football 14 and College Hoops 2k8... all series that were ended... and they are still enjoyable.. so i can see that a title can not be yearly and still be playable but i will i could buy updated versions of all!

I not hating on anyone, I honestly don't care either way. Like I said, they'll keep milking these yearly sports games because people will buy them regardless so I don't blame them
Biggest selling console based football game of all time and people are mocking nearly paying £50 quid for a new release when there's clearly demand..........I may be wrong but aren't most pre orders around £40-50

"Oh but the game hasn't changed"......Yeah right.

The same people hating probably pay to upgrade they're mobile phones every year even though they effectively do "the same thing".

tbh they could put a price tag of £70 on this for vanilla and they would still ship millions of copies
People complaining over a few quid for the game then probably spend hundreds on fifa points for the whole year they play 🙄🙄
£46.99 at Smyths.

£46.99 at Smyths.

Probably the best common in this whole thread. At last someone understands how this website works - it's to advertise deals, not to slag off companies for "overcharging" us.
Tesco will be 44.99

Cod isn't copy and pasted every year though there have been boost jumping versions and boots on the ground versions, very different gameplay... neither if Fifa tbh, it always looks and feels different, but Fifa is soo scripted! To the point where it is annoying and boring to play matches on it because you know one team will score in the 45th/90th minute 9/10 games, so it is not fun. I would genuinely much rather teabag a pool of pirahnas or a bed of nails than pay over £40 for it.

You're obviously not very good at the game then.
Fifa 15 preowned is 99p
Fifa 16 preowned is £1.99

So why buy fifa 18? when I could have Fifa 31 for £2.98

I've always been a really good player, if I score a scripted 45th or scripted 90th minute goal veryyyy regularly, then how does that mean i'm not very good? Why be ignorant? Are you employed by EA? Or just delusional haha?
