when would they announce this going to EA Access?

Well last year it was on EA Access at this time, but this year with the World Cup who knows, could see £A $PORT$ waiting and trying to cash in on those who want to play the world cup game.

Agreed, I’m waiting and dare I say it....playing PES on gamepass
Every year I do it - buy it at full price, then put the POS down after about 30 mins and never touch it again.
Why does the tab on chrome disappear when I click on get deal!?!?!
Might get this just for the World Cup Update.

Anyone know if PES is doing a World Cup Update thing this year ?

Ahhh well.
They will probably release it on EA access after the World cup is finished = after the 15th of july.
EA Access is great, but I've only really used it for FIFA in the 2 years I've had it, which has been released in the April of each year until now. Pretty disappointed, but not surprised, at the holding back of FIFA 18 to cash in on the World Cup this year. Won't be renewing my sub as a result - may as well buy FIFA 19 come September and get a full year of play out of it instead.
Anyone else struggling to get rid of the £4 minimum basket charge?
This game is complete trash, boycott these soulless microtransaction games made by EA! Really is an awful game

I can't really remember from 4 years ago but it will be very self explanatory. It will most likely be an auto update or in the menus it will show it available for download it would be impossible to miss.

I’m neither a child nor someone who pays for virtual currency, but to rubbish FIFA 18 purely due to the fact it’s an EA game is frankly absurd.
Might be worth updating the original post as it's now this price across all platforms including the Switch. Available in store and on Tesco direct.

I've not played a FIFA game since 1999 so this will be my first return to the series, on the Switch, the free World Cup update turned me and I'd rather pay £20 and enjoy the game this Summer than wait until September for updated rosters and a hefty £50 price tag.

Oh no it's a rubbish game full stop. Just look at the reviews. I used to like the game around Fifa 15 time but it's gotten progressively worse as they've focused on exploiting money from children in Ultimate Team. The idiots that keep buying what is essentially a squad update every year are allowing this to continue.

No one forces players to spend money on the game its a choice you either make or do not. Even at full price if you buying it every year its just over £3 per month so if you enjoy footbal games why not buy it. To call people idiots because they do not hold the same views as you shows a lack of respect. People buy new tshirts/shirts/shoes ever year are they also idiots? Its basically the same item just a change of design.

might as well just buy FIFA 17 now then on that logic?

I wish I was as cool as you. FIFA is cyclical - it gets faster and faster, then gets a bit slower for a few years then back round again. Ultimate team is a small portion of the entire game and it loses nothing by avoiding it completely I'm sure your boycott of it is really making EA look hard at themselves in the mirror unlike the other people who are "allowing this to continue" (which is a ludicrously over the top statement to make about a computer game that has come out every year for 25 years)
