Great price for digital. Matches the price when looking overseas via the gift card method.

Cold, scripted

Cracking price if you already have EA access. Good find.

Bear in mind that this £33.59 is for owning the game for just six months - it'll be on EA Access anyway come April.

Then you will only be renting it, If you wait until August, you will be able to pick up a physical copy of the game for around £5

It will reach EA Acess... April sounds a tad premature though.

This is HOT! If you play FIFA18, you want to be playing it SEP-MAY on the season of release in any case

Every April the current FIFA ends up in ea access

It’s best to buy physical and sell around March for best profit and then play it on ea accrss

It's been early April the past 2 years.

I always buy a digital version. It’s not worth much come March time anyway. Good deal and purchased

Good post. How did you find this?

It's still £50+ on the console itsself.

That’s good even without the ea access for the game wasn’t going to buy at all but this twisted my arm it’s funny because it says in this bundle and has the game at £53.99 reduced from £59.99 but you only pay 37 something 🔥🔥🔥 added

Thanks op, just bought it

It showing as 53.99 on the payment screen on the console and Xbox app

Is this one of the games with Xbox One X enhancements?

josh97132 m ago

what do you mean?

I mean fifa is a scripted game, so its a waste of money.

Yes 4K and 60FPS

A great price for those who do game sharing!

Just paid £34 for squad updates and endless scripting. Oh, addiction, thou art a cruel mistress. Heat added.

What's the Ronaldo edition and whi would someone choose that option

Thx big save for me!:)
Waiting for xbox x to play on real 4k 60fps on Oled Tv

If you don’t have EA Access already you may as well buy a month for £3.99 as it’s a £4.20 saving. I’ve seen something about being able to get a refund but not sure if you still can?

To confirm, I subscribed for 1 month then bought fifa then cancelled EA Access with a full refund.

This - I’m 37 yr old (usually ok with this stuff) but don’t get how this will work!
It’s still full price in store?

Just says 'cant process this payment' for me. I don't have EA access, i'm trying to purchase at the £37 price.
Anyone else having trouble with this?

Define scripted in this context.

The game is developed so that people who are bad at the game are still able to regularly beat opponents who are much better than them. It constantly prevents your team from doing the basic movements/ controls/ commands when you are being scripted to lose. You can hit the post & crossbar 4/5/6 times in 1 match and have several shots saved and lose to somebody who is SCRIPTED with a goal from the majority of shots they have. There are countless examples of this happening since I started playing fifa online in 2008/9. It's truly pathetic.

right I know what you mean now. I do agree too, it somehow doesn't stop me playing every year either

OK so what am I missing? I only see the price £59.99 for Fifa 18 or £53.99 with EA Access, I don't see the £33.59 price, on the website or via the Xbox. Was thinking of getting this game as my nephew plays it allot so he can play via game share.

Are you clicking the link in the OP? If you search website or xbox then it's full price. I've just purchased for £37 (i don't have EA access) and have pushed it to Xbox ready for when I get home!

I was clicking on the link but it was taking me to Microsofts homepage, I think it was conflicting with NoScript plug-in in firefox. I just checked on Chrome and it showed the correct price.

Sorry but what's 'truly pathetic' here is your inability to accept that you may need to change how you play the game. You're probably trying the same things you tried in Fifa 14, guess what, the game changes and you need to adapt. Hitting the post 7 times, try something different, clearly what you are doing results in hitting the post! What motive would the developers have for scripting you to lose? If your opponent puts the pad down, will you still lose? I don't think so.

Sorry to rant, just think some perspective is needed sometimes! Remember, it's only a game Try and improve

Same until 16/17, and i started to just lose interest, now i've got 0 intention of buying 18, i've played the 10 hour trial and the scripting is still suppperrrr strongggg

I obviously don't hit the post/bar every game, but its occasionally which is still a joke, and so is the fact that you're trying to defend the game, i spend hundreds of hours improving on every fifa only to get sacasacavipted, so i now quit the game, you're obviously either not very competetive when it comes to fifa or you are deluded or one of those high profile fifa youtubers who has a scripted to win account so the kids who watch you are given a false view of how the game plays.
