£44.99 maybe the cheapest price but it's still an awful one.

It's got even more expensive this year, but when your kids want it the question is where is the cheapest. This seems to be. So heat from me.
It might seem expensive but the amount of time that people spend online playing this game makes it far better value than day buying a bluray movie.

I know people than spend hundreds of hours playing these fifa games so it must work out at a few pence an hour.

Not my cup of tea but users squeeze the value out of it.
It's baffling that deals on this site get voted cold simply because it's not a game some people like. This is a good deal for those who want to buy it, for whatever reason they want to buy it. Just because the game's not your cup of tea doesn't mean the deal is bad.

It's a good deal, OP. Best available at the moment as far as I know. I'm looking to get it but I'm not going to pay above 40 for it, so I'll be holding out. Heat

I completely agree, but it's the best price out there. People seem to vote on the fact they don't like Fifa or that the price is higher than other games, but it's about getting the best deal and this is it..
The reason why fifa are comfortable with increasing their price every year is because people assume that the cheapest price (despite being increased) is a good deal and buy it.
The cheapest price for a game is the best deal..

If you have a bit of sense you can sell it when it goes in to the EA Vault and make £20 back. Have done that for the past couple of years.

This site seems more and more to be about voting for what you like, not on the deal and there are far too many trolls. This is the best price so heat from me.

Prices for FIFA pre orders are shocking this year. £10 at least above previous years. As I posted on a separate deal though, most people who buy this will likely spend over 100 hours at least playing it. I know I'll clock that up in pro clubs alone. That makes it a decent deal compared to those £30 games you've platted in 15 hours, that end up gathering dust.
pes is £35
Heat..... Best price.
Cold, got mine for £37.99 with that NUS deal on Amazon.
However, PES is the better game once an option file has been added.
So 2 reasons why it's cold.

NUS deal isn't available for everyone and calling PES the better game is highly subjective and Konami's track record of online gameplay isn't exactly great (plus they got rid of Kojima-san ).
Have you played the demo? There's hardly any real difference between the game play

it's a good price but I won't pre order from Tesco again if I want a game on release date. I had one fifa arrive 3 days late and my last fifa pre order arrived 10 days late.
smyths are still doing it for 44.99 in store. so if you reserve for store pick up it'll be 44.99 as well. so couple options at theowest price out there. fifa isn't the 1st game I noticed coming out over 40 recently... they all seem to be doing it now. mass effect may have been the 1st I noticed releasing at 45, but seemed an anomaly at the time, but there are more there now if you look at the places that normally sell around 40.
Just hold out until release and you should be able to pick it up for below £40. Some supermarkets may do deals, where you get it cheaper, when you spend £30 (say) in store.
Guys...it's 2017 and PES still doesn't work online properly. It's fine if you're playing same couch, but online...it's always been crap, and seemingly always will be. It sucks.

Plus, Konami can go suck balls.

It's not a deal as it is a pre-order, and a full price one at that. £45 is going rate, or even above, for most new AAA games. This is especially not a deal given this will cost £5 in about 12 months...and the game is essentially identical to last year's.

the problem with this is at checkout tesco state that it will be delivered on the 03/10/17 - 4 days after release

So no deals can be pre orders? And it's not a deal because eventually, a year after it's out, it'll be cheaper? Come on now.

It's the cheapest available price, and it being "identical" to previous years is a matter of opinion. Let people enjoy what they want.

I couldn't agree more. This site is about good value deals, not if you like something or not. If you can find it cheap post that and vote it cold but if not vote it hot or just ignore it and move on.

PES is better online then FIFA for me 80/20mb broadband at least PES shows you were the player you are playing is from. I wish FIFA worked but 95% of my matches are sluggish and feel out of sync.

What promotion is that?
Taking into account you used a gift certificate (which others won't have) it comes to £33.32 having subtracted the 'promotion', that hopefully will be one others can use?

How I have student amazon account do I need NUS too? If so it would cost me more as it's £13 a year at the moment

Which deal is this?
I usually do, but I'm not getting FIFA at launch this year unless I drop on a really cheap deal, as I want to work my way through my embarrassingly large HUKD bought backlog!

EA access gives you access to loads of EA games (just not very latest releases) for a £20 a year subscription. Titanfall 2, Battlefied series including the latest Battlefield 1, Mirrors Edge Catalyst, Need for Speed games and various sports games, which includes Fifa 2017 (in case you are just a casual footie gamer). I believe you can subscribe through the EA access app on the available from the Xbox store.
Just tried to order this but it states that the ecoupon is no longer valid.

Preorder with Smythes if you have a store local to you. Plus side is that Smythes take payment on dispatch /collection whereas Tesco takes payment straightaway!
