Adapted from Chuck Palahniuk's novel, David Fincher's controversial drama explores themes of masculinity and violence in contemporary society. Edward Norton stars as Jack, a bored insomniac, determined to inject some excitement into his life. He meets Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), a charismatic soap salesman who believes that the only way to escape the banality of modern existence is through violence. To these ends, Jack and Tyler set up 'Fight Clubs', where men can engage in brutal bare-knuckle fights. However, friction develops between the two men when they become rivals for the attentions of Marla (Helena Bonham-Carter).

Awaiting (i.e. out of) stock, unfortunately. This edition has been deleted, so the chances of them getting any in are pretty remote. uWish appear to be the only retailer still listing this.

Ohh! This reminds me, I'm looking for the book Rant by the same guy.

I'm a big fan of Chuck Palahniuk, and I have to admit, Rant is easily my least favourite out of all he's done so far. In fact, I'd go so far as to say I really didn't enjoy it.

His new one, Snuff, is out in May.

Thats a shame, I know its been getting mixed reviews and from what I can decipher from them this would read like a comic book version of Cronenberg's movie Crash.

The paperback version is out in May also. So I'll probably hold out and get Snuff instead lol.

great film

Awaiting stock now....

It was Awaiting Stock the moment it was posted! :-D

I was a late viewer of this movie having only watched it last year. Id avoided it due to the hype surrounding it when it came out (dont ask me why but i hate liking what everyone else does lol) anyway it's a very very good movie and I wish i'd watched it sooner. For £3 this is great, really is a film you can watch more than once and get more out of it the second time round.
