Good deal, I guess this is a port of the DS version which I already have?

They're essentially the DS remakes with an upgrade.

Wrong text in description! Oops.

They have a few Final Fantasy discounts on at the moment: instant-gaming.com/en/…asy

I would have expected them to pack Final Fantasy IV and The After Years, but it looks like they don't sell that, also missing a few others.

I really want to get this but instant gaming need a security check to use paypal? which is very suspicious to me as for me the whole point of using paypal is to not have to tell every website your personal details, anyone know a workaround or alternative to this?

The only info I needed to give was my mobile number so they could send a verification code which I needed to input before checkout. Is this not the case for you?

I've had to do it a couple of times for companies situated outside of the EU and US. Personally I have never had any problems but it is always good to be a bit cautious. If you don't feel comfortable then don't do it.

With regards to instant gaming, I got a call from an unknown number within seconds of submitting my number. A automated message repeated the verification code twice and then hung up. I ordered last night and so far I haven't had any unsolicited calls or texts.

They are also true to their name, the code for the games was available instantly after I made the transaction. No waiting for an email, it was there on screen as soon as I was out of the Paypal screen.

Thanks for the info, I did remember i still have an cheap phone i was using when my old one broke, I might give that a go as i just turn it off anyway. do you know if its possible to get 2 things in a transaction? from the layout it looks like you can only buy one thing at a time, I was after the 13 double pack and 3+4, seems like a minor hassle to do separate transactions and phone verification every time, hoping the phone verification would only be once.

I only brought the Final Fantasy pack, but it does look like you have to buy one item at a time, unfortuantely.

It's out of stock now D:
I remembered too late I have a spare phone

Back in stock, and I am trying to buy it, I was able to get 13 part 1&2 yesterday but today it kept saying my phone number was in use by another account and locked me out, I've messaged support about this 4 times now, the first response was a basic question they asked to clarify at which point i gave more detail, then I got an automated response from their faq page that was 100% unrelated to my problem which I called them out on, they have actually deleted that message from the history on the site now out of embarrassment which in itself is suspicious if they will edit their past support messages they have given and I now have a response of "we are looking into it"

I am loosing all faith in this site's credibility, I've never had an issue with using paypal like this on any other site before in the last decade or so of using it, I've also never had a site need to verify with a phone code in order to use paypal, this is just wasting time for me in what should be a simple transaction.
Given the way their support has acted and how suspicious this extra security is I am really questioning using it in future

As an update to the above, I've had to manually message them again to get a response, to which point they are manually validating my number, I am waiting response, again.

I've had my phonenumber bypassed by their customer support and completed the transaction, which has now been put on hold by their security team and an automated message is asking me to send them a form of photo ID along with proof that I own the paypal account it is registered to. at this point it seems obvious the site is just data farming, I have never had anywhere near this level of issue shopping on a site before and this has become beyond suspicious.

I've contacted paypal's fraud department about the issue, the website is making false claims that paypal "requires" they request these additional details and their account with paypal is now being investigated, so chances are paypal soon wont be accepted at all on site, they have definitely been requesting personal details under fraudulent premise in this circumstance.

The paypal agents also agree that requesting phone details just to use paypal is in itself suspicious
