Emulation on android is easy nowadays.
Retroarch for free, or a 12mb espxe install for £3.

I tried to revisit vii last year. It's so cringey and clunky. It'll live forever in my mind as a great game though.

To be fair, I tried this last year when I got my Steam Deck and I modded it to high heaven, and it was a fantastic experience. Going back to the vanilla game now is difficult

I'm a sucker for 8. Currently revisiting the remaster on a 2017 IPad Pro and it's a joy. It uses the full real estate of the screen ( compared to the version I have on Xiaomi Note 10 Pro which has bars on the side. Told you total sucker for this game) the frame rate for the FMV is choppy not sure if it's due to the old hardware on the pro or just an issue with the port as it also happens on the Android version. Admittedly FF8 is my fave so there is a bias there however just wanted to provide some feedback for anyone who's maybe thinking of getting it.
