Cheapest i've seen this. Price has dropped everywhere but this is certainly leading the price war atm.

She defied her destiny. She set out to vanquish the false gods enslaving mankind.
After the war, the world was no longer the same. Humans reigned victorious and their gods were no more. Their utopia fell from the sky and became one with Pulse, the underworld crawling with beasts and fiends. It marked the beginning of a new era.
However, she was nowhere to be seen. Everyone was convinced she was gone - with the exception of one, her sister, Serah.

Three years later -
A meteorite disrupts the serenity of a peaceful village. Time is distorted; bloodthirsty monsters are released within the confines of the secluded town. Amidst the chaos, Serah is saved by a stranger who goes by the name of Noel. A hunter from the future, he bears an important message.
"She is waiting for you", he says. "Come with me if you want to see her again".

She is Lightning - protector of the goddess who rules the realm of death and chaos, the one-and-only sister of Serah.
"I need to see her. I need to see my sister".
Her heart brimming with hope, a determined Serah sets off on an adventure to reunite with her sister, her family, her world.

Think i'll buy it now at this price.
Thanks.
This game is like a leper. No store wants it on the premises.
Just searched Sainsburys and found that both collectable edition are available for £17.99 each if anyone is interested.
That's really a great game
heat added
Bought it last week for £11 and thought that was a good deal. Heat.
This game just keeps dropping in price. I wonder how low it will go.

Heat added.
Is this actually a good game as retailers seem to want to get rid?
I paid 39.99 on release for this so I could get the steelbook for it...which turned out to be a G1 steel...

*does a little cry*

Never buying a Final Fantasy game on launch.EVER AGAIN
Hmm this is a good deal but with the price continually dropping I'm considering waiting till sub £5.

This is an amazing game... so much better than 13. Bargain!

I have well over 100 hours play on this and still enjoying it and still not finished!

No.
Bought a week or so back for about a tenner, this is in the pile of games I'll get round to some time in the next couple of months.
Should've waited - didn't think it'd drop any further any time soon!

Heated. Great price.
Wow words fail to express how stupid people were to buy at launch around the £40 mark
And then to buy when there was a cut price to the £30 mark
And then a further drop to the £19.99 (i was one of them)
And then to £15
And then a further reduction to £12
And now £8
FMLFMLFMLFMLFML

Or you could have done what I did, preordered with game, kept the steelbook and sent the game back.

I've just reordered the game now as it's the cheapest it's been - win win
Im just going through FF13 now for the first time as i bought that and this a few weeks ago. Apart from FF13 being linear, im finding it great, one of the better Final Fantasies. Ive heard this is pretty much the same but slightly more open. If thats the case then this will be the best £7.99 you could spend if you like your RPGs

I've learnt my lesson, I'm not buying on launch ever again...unless it's Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank or a Bethesda game.
Paid £60 for the crystal edition on launch. The more the standard edition drops in price, the more my purchase has been justified

I could easily make that £60 back on fleabay, and I have the steelbook etc to go with it, but i'll take the risk and keep it, incase it becomes even more rare than it already is.
Crazy, this game is only a few months old.

I bought the collector's edition at £27 thinking it would hold its value a little better especially as FFXIII-2 has much more positive reviews than FFXIII but here we are, even that is £17.99 now. Buying any sort of Square game at any price more than £5 seems to be a bad idea even if a Final Fantasy 7 hd remake comes out :P
kept an eye out on the prices for this and bit the bullet thanks.

they only take credit card as payment WTF!

This is an all new low for FF in more ways than one.

You're thinking of FFX-2, we're climbing back up!
I got the original XIII and hated it but loved the ps1 originals XII, XIII and IX. Read the review of this and it seems pretty good and gotta be worth an £8 punt. Ordered!

X-2 was better than X!

Also your username gave me nightmares about how absolutely awful FFTA was...possibly the worst tactics game i've ever played...
Ordered. Worth it for £8. Thanks

You can enter your debit card details and it seems to go through.
With the price dropping so dramatically, one can only assume there's going to be a "Game of the Year" edition becoming out soon with all the DLC content. Can anyone comment on the DLCs? Are they worth it?
Went all the way through checkout to the last page and then didnt buy it.

Already brought 4 games this week, This will be another one unopened in 6 months still.

Will leave it so someone else can get one before they go OOS, ill wait for the £2.99 price point (next month??)

Or poundland the month after?? :O

Most of them are tat as they're only costumes and coliseum fights. However, the last 3 released are more substantial. There's a Lightning one that has story and missions where you play as her then if you finish it 5* then she joins the party. Sahz has a mission and two card minigames. Sahz gets added as a pet monster (oh Japan, you so racist) o_O The Snow one has a mission, Snow to add to your party and two coliseum fights.

I'm still not buying any of it though, as soon as I do they'll discount the crap out of that too!

How do you find this game on Sainsburys site without searching title of game ?
That will go nicely with the ltd edition guide you posted a couple of weeks ago. Both for £14.
good deal, but my question now is where do I get good deal on PS3 console since I dont own one atm...

Search for PS3 console, top right of the site
DH got me this yesterday as a surprise - in Sainsbury's for £14.99. Cheeky beggars. Will be going back today and ordering online instead
Why don't amazon price match sainsburys?
Frighteningly cheap.
Thanks OP, finally bit the bullet and bought this..

X-2 was better than X!

Thanks for that, I needed a laugh today.

In what universe is X-2 better than X? The universe where the super camp rule everything? X-2 was an insult to the memory of X.
