Good find. Heat added Happy New Year

Happy new year to you too mate.
Does this final fantasy use a turn based combat system or something similiar to FF15?
Isn’t it free to play anyway until level 30?

Yeah should be unless they changed it again.. 30 doesn't sound like a lot but hooo it is especially if you do all the jobs

- definitely one of my favourite mmorpg's on the console so far.

£9/m is the factor that always puts me off this game... heat for those on the fence though
Give it a go cheers op.
Anyone who pays for a game monthly has to be nuts. I think paying for season passes and DLC is bad enough.

Wait for TERA to release on consoles next year might be your next favourite

I played for like a year. Never remember paying more than £7-8.

it was the entry level fee (1 character) which is all you need on this game as 1 character can play every class. Literally no reason for additional characters unless you wanted to play multiple servers

£2.99 at CD Keys for at least over a week if you are looking for the PC version if its help to anyone :). So with 5% discount code even cheaper

You can play for free until level 35 on the trial version anyway if its just to try it out. However you have limited social interaction with this.

If you're playing this game and nothing else, I could see that in short spells, it's not bad value for money but even at £7/m, that's £84 for the year + the base game price.
I tend swap & change my games a lot (and have a mounting pile of shame) so subscription-based games aren't best suited to me but I'd be far more inclined to try it if it were something like £3/m.
I'm not buying it because I'm afraid that I'll like it

Oh, and on the Standard / Entry subscription levels... my guess is that multiple characters might come in useful when game-sharing...?

Good to know about the trial - thanks
So... if you can blitz the trial 1st and then apply the 30-days from this, all buyers should probably do that to maximise the value of the pass (unless they need the social element from the outset).
