This is cheapest price ever for XBox version I think and cheapest available for PS4 at the moment. Hope it helps someone.

Loads of content for £25. Fantastic game imo.
I've not played this one how does it compare to the classic ff7? Heat added regardless as is a great price thanks.

I found it a return to form for the series after the very poor XIII series

I got it on release and got bored of it after about 4hrs.

Gave it another go with the royal edition release. Glad i did, Put in 16 hrs in so far in the past week or so.

Well worth it at this price. Looks gorgeous too. If you have a 4k hdr tv and a one x it's a stunner.
Time to jump back into FFXV, I completed the main game when it first came out but didn’t buy the season pass knowing a complete version would eventually be released. FFXV isn’t for everyone but I thought it was great

Personally wasn't for me. I enjoy the atb and turn based nature of ff7. The combat in this was good, but the story was poorly executed (imo), it is worth a try as it might be for you but the dungeons and exploration felt very repetitive. My views are probably marred by the fact I went in with very high expectations.

I think it depends what you are expecting. FFXV was in development for 10 years, starting on PS3 before transitioning to PS4, so the expectation was really really high.

In the end it is a good game, the music and graphics are outstanding, the gameplay is fun (for an action RPG, but not the traditional turn-based FF style), but the story... is a real mess. I've played virtually every FF and the execution of the story here in FFXV is probably the worst.

You need to see the movie Kingsglaive, and watch the Youtube anime Brotherhood to get some backstory to the game. Jumping into the game alone will leave you a bit confused.

They've done some patches, some DLC to try and add content and make it a better experience, but I think fundamentally if you're looking a cohesive story experience like say Horizon Zero Dawn or The Witcher 3, even Zelda:BOTW is bare-bones but cohesive, then this is probably going to annoy you more than you enjoy it.
I love the game so far (I've just begun the Windows version). The last FF I did was FFVII.
Apparently the story was so poor that they had to fix it with free DLCs and players had to watch Kingsclaive, a film, to actually understand what on earth is going in. I watched it on Netflix, liked it.
The patching of the game and the story being all done, I'm really enjoying FF XV and haven't noticed anything wrong yet, 10h into the game.

The Kingsglaive movie was surprisingly really good and well worth a watch, especially if you plan on getting into FFXV. Sean Bean plays King Regis so you know what that always works out when Sean Bean plays a character
The season pass isn't included in this edition, just thought I'd mention.

It is. It isn't included in the Royal upgrade, which you only get digitally via the PS/Xbox store, which you maybe getting confused with.
Showing as 29.85 on xbox?
game is more for those who like hack n slash and open world games than traditional final fantasy ones, and even those it doesn't do brilliantly. I found the combat awful.
