Still not my biting price, but close.
do you need a subscription for this?
£24.99 and maybe I'll bite
Here in Italy, and I think in the whole EU, it's 39,99 EUR (35£). On cdkeys it's way cheaper. 32€ with 5% voucher code.

No but you might as well do. There were 3 dlc's released after the game came out on the consoles. However wen released the game's storyline was largely incomplete with huge holes and inconsistencies. However since then the developers have worked quite a bit to put in story cutscenes and made other changes in levels. In some cases levels were copletely overhauled. Strangely enough these days gamers see this as a "good" thing, however in reality it is a very shady practice.

Also, you would need to buy the season pass to get some smaller dlc bits. In addition to the "season pass" there is now the "royal edition dlc" which basically ads a whole new ending to the game after the base game ending so without it you miss the storyline.

The good thing is all of this is included in this game. However, there are at least 3 new dlc's planned. At the moment no one knows if these will be sold separately or part of the second season pass. How we got to the stage of two season passes for one game is beyond me but this game is far from finished even right now.

I appreciate your response, but in all honesty I have seen the game industry turn into profit hungry machines who churn DLC after producing a terrible and limited main game... I dont agree with a subscription model - but I also don't agree with a game built around DLC.

These companies don;t know what gaming is about hence why so many fold year on year.

I will give this a miss sadly.

Square have lost their touch long ago, that and every gaming company these days do it. They obviosuly purposely plan to make DLC from the start so they can make more money. It's shocking really but everyone seems to be ok with it lol.

I've never once purposely bought DLC unless I bought the game late and it was already included. or a pre order bonus (but they are usually just silly items or skins).

This game though, this game should of had...and I try to say this without laughing, another 6months to a year before it released. It's an amazing game but it could of been so much better.

It's your choice, of course, but you're missing out on a great and lengthy game. The game's been continually improved since launch, it's true, but coming to it half a year after release felt in no way like a cash grab.

The DLC was never mandatory to enjoy the story (I liked it fine, at least since they fixed Chapter 13 which is when I played it through), and is included in this release already anyway. No matter what they add to it later, the current core is a good one.
