I can definitely confirm that. On my PS2 I've played it for about 130 hours and I still had a lot of things left to do (mainly defeating all the dark aeons and completing the sphere grid). If you add FFX-2 you can easily reach 200 hours.
Should be cross buy

No - you could easily rack up over 100 hours on each game if you did absolutely everything that there is to do. And that was on the original PS2 versions, so that's without all the additional content. I know I played both of them for over 100 hours each back in the day because I can tell you that the time counter in both original games stops at 99:59.
Wow, I'm a little surprised to see the price for this coming down so fast! Great price.
Awesome... I was panicking a bit as it seemed to be out of stock everywhere I looked at the weekend, looks like I needn't have worried and it's nice to know that I've saved myself a tenner too!

Nice for you, likewise I also completed them back in the day and can tell you it took me 50 hours a piece to do absolutely everything there was to do, tell a lie it was 54 hours for Final Fantasy X.

My memory could be failing me, but I thought in FFX the timer went over 100 hours? I thought I played until around 200 hours...

Anyhow, really enjoying playing this on the Vita now (except the temples, but they're only short so I can forgive them being in the game).

It always used to max out at 99:59:59 in the older games - it definitely does in FFVII -

Thought it did in X as well as I seem to remember a friend pointing it out to me before I played it.

Well that's pretty quick. I know several other people who spent over 100 hours on FFX and, from Googling, the general internet consensus is that you can get over 100 hours of gameplay out of it.

Fair comment, wasn't trying to be annoying with the 50 hour a piece comment. I'm sure you could get a 100 hours out of these doing everything but that's really pushing it quite hard, not to the point of being bonkers and getting completely bored (I love JRPGs and leveling and what not) but for most people completing the main story and a few of the fun extras will take around 40 hours if not pottering about.

Doing absolutely everything in 54 hours was fast if I remember correctly, and this wasn't the international version of course back then.

I dunno, I think I just knee jerk reacted to the "200 hours of gameplay" if I'm honest as the story and motivation to play will likely have long gone before those 200 hours is up, which lets be honest is what JRPGs are all about (plus crazy tough post game dungeons of course).

So pleased to have found this,
saved at least £10.

spent many of hours on this when I was younger so quite excited to see it remastered. Great deal!*****
