No
It is a website set up by the EU to force companies to tow the line. The EU also introduced the RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN, which allows us to erase historical personal data. Something many in the US are pushing for.

Only goes as far as i. Is this just a simple cookie blocker based in the browser I happen to be using at this moment
I think most marketing companies put AD in the title. It could also be because they appear first on alphabetically sorted lists.
I am not exactly sure how it works technically but I think you are right it uses your cookies. If you just clear cookies, you will need to accept them again so this avoids data abuse. It gives an explicit instruction to each company not to use your data. They are unlikely to risk it as the EDAA can hold them accountable.

NO, it sets an OPT OUT cookie of it's own, specific to each AD company that it detected during the scan of your browser's existing cookies. The EU legislation obliges ad companies to respect and comply with this (who knows what will happen after BREXIT)

Why does this matter when you use adblock and block all spam emails :P
Legitimate site but plugin seems to not work, and never has (reports back from 2011 to today on Which review), better off using other plugins like ghostery / privacy badger

If it's a closed group, you'll need to be a member in order to see the link's destination.
The EU don’t like the UK. And no data is erased all together, they tell you that.

So you couldn't open the links and then post the url for the destination(s)? Pull the other one....take your nonsense elsewhere!

I can see nothing on their site about this organisation of advertisers being "set up by the EU". Can you give a link to were it says precisely that?
.eu is like .government.uk in that it is set aside for government and government agencies.
