Using this technique worked with me for BT, I had Ian Livingston 'personally' reply and 'he' got 'his' high levels complaints team to deal with it straight away. They spoke with all the call centres and did everything however if you've not gone via the normal complaints procedures I don't think you should use this technique, as the real/important problems that do need to be addressed by the CEO will get missed and we're back to square one again.

WOW this is great just as a test I searched for Balfour and it gave me the email add
this is going to be great MJV I think this should go viral for those who always wanted to complain to the top but not have their contact so now if you email them and even if the PA gets it, it is as good as rather than those proxy Customer Services who don't know how to talk to people.

By the way I never dealt with Balfour...

True don't give every CEO a hardtime the CC has been set for a purpose and most of them deal with your complains on a Human level....

I've used the email of Philip Clarke (Tesco) before and it worked, because I got a reply from one of his assistants, who looked into a matter for me. Very useful to have these. Nice find OP. heat added.

Why can't i find Steve Jobs' to complain about these crappy iPhones?

That is a pretty poor joke. Even if you don't like a person or the company they spent most of their life building to take the **** out of them for dying is a bit low. Tut tut

I highly doubt there is a number for hell to reach Steve Jobs.

Your email is just handled by their secretary. But yes, if the lower level staff can't handle your problem, this is the only way to go. In fact, I just had a problem with BT solved this way. Long problem short, they didn't keep their promise on a phone conversation and I told them the exact time and date of the call and they checked the recording to prove I was in the right. If I were to choose again, I would definitely avoid BT at all cost. Luckily, I kept record of all my calls and emails.

BTW, Ian Livingston is no longer the head of BT.

I had to do some digging, but got the email address for the managing director of Honda UK when I was treated really poorly by a member of sales staff in a showroom in Lancaster. Sent my complaints to the franchise owners as well as Honda complaints and the MD and also copied each party in on my messages. Recieved an email back from MD's assistant who informed me he would look into the matter. Very quickly was contacted by all the other people I'd contacted and long story short went to a different showroom, bought the same car we were looking at originally and were treated fantastically. They also threw in a few hundred pounds worth of freebies. Absolutley recommend this if you're getting nowhere via the usual channels.

Just one thing to note. These people have access to all your personal details. So no matter how rude and unreasonable they treat you, they have the means to get back at you discreetly. So bare that in mind before filing any complaints.

Leader is the Queen -- **** is Cameron

Have used these before with a lot of success. Another thing to try is to get the directors home addresses from companies house (if it's a limited company) and send a letter to them costs £2 though.

Can't say it works I smaller companies .

A very handy tool..........as long as it's not used like the 999 service!

Is that the guy that invented the pickle?

CEO of this ceoemail website is Marcus Williamson

I thought this was common knowledge, all you had to do was google Ceo email :p. I complained to o2 ceo awhile back on a matter and their CEO offfice team kindly refunded me the cost of the handset for my troubles. Although I have heard that some CEO's (or their team) don't even bother replying. I'll be emailing one of those supposed CEO's and see how I get on. Getting tired of being fed false promises and losing a ton of money.

I did this with a Toyota authorised dealer that treated me badly. In the end I emailed the head of Toyota UK explaining the way I'd been treated etc.
It certainly worked because the dealer called me up with a real grovelling apology, dealt with the original problem, gave me a full service for free, & gave me a Lexus for a week as a courtesy car!

As others have said, go through the normal CC procedures first, & just use this as a last resort.

Me too. The BT executive team then promptly sorted out an issue, where customer services hadn't got their act together. Couldn't agree more that it's sometimes worth going right to the top after you've gone thru normal channels.

why is this in Deals?
