thanks to thefilbertfox for this voucher code

you should mention this is for a refurbished model! a new one is £239. were the 'similar prices elsewhere' for a refurb?

Original Poster

no, this is the price for a new one if you apply the discount code P258BTCC467 at checkout!

price for a refurb is 160 I believe on that website

Any opinions out there between this and the tz6? You should have also posted the S200EXR that comes out at about £250 with the code, that is a good deal!

Here is a ]Link to where the code originated from....

I think the TZ6 is superior... some of the reviews for this suggest theres a problem with colour fringing!... I think the TZ6 is the best compact superzoom out there at the moment.

The tz6 can be bought with a 15% comet code for £157, that may be my option. You should post another for the S200EXR because the deal with that code is a killer.

Also the F200EXR comes down to £155. Better camera than F70EXR mainly due to larger chip used.

That is a very good deal.

I bought this when ebuyer had it for £167

I thought it was way too noisy on default settings

You obviously can't distinguish the difference between NEW and REFURB models on the FujiFilm website, can you. As you rubbished my post in the F200EXR thread for the exact same reason. Just for you.... Under the BUY NEW section it lists.

£150.00 for a NEW FZ0EXR, incuding 12 months warranty and next day delivery. This is clearly the better deal IMO
Must admit though that it's strange the Fuji website lists the Refurb models above the New models. Confused me the first time I used it.

A big big thank you for that will take many of pic of our first born due jan

Excellent deal, went for the F200EXR brand new for £155 instead. Already have the F70EXR, but cost me £170. Really like the camera. The EXR and dynamic range is much superior to the Pany's. The current price of the excellent TZ6 makes it very attractive though.

thanks for the feedback guys!

just ordered the F200 EXR cheers for the link H&R

The correct price for the new camera is £155 (£239.99 - 30% btcc code) inc del. I ordered one last week, it also came with a tripod cussion! I'm not sure if they just shoved it in to fill out the box! Even at £155 it still the cheapest I could find.

Yes, it was 155 last week but applying the voucher code now gives a price of 150.
Don't you just hate it when that happens. :x

Not having had the chance to compare these cameras myself - except playing in the shop - I can only go by the reviews; these seem to say the TZ7 is equal to the TZ6 (but better by having HD video). The F70 is different but by no means worse. It has slightly less zoom and like the TZ6 only shoots 640x480 movies; but it is considerably slimmer and smaller.

You really need to get to hold and use them as for me the F70, TZ6/7 are too small for my clumsy hands... I didn't feel comfortable holding them at all.

Thanks thefilbertfox and rob_price, snatched myself a brand new F70EXR with 1 year warranty from the Fuji Shop for £150 delivered. So far the camera has lived up to the hype, with very impressive high iso shots. ISO 800 is way better than my F100FD (no watercolour effect! Hoorah, fuji has fixed up!) and even 1600 is useable after Neat Image processing (no chance of that on the F100FD). Still got my F31FD, which does have a cleaner high ISO (but only slightly) but this trumps it with the 10x zoom, image stabilisation and better exposure metering.

I find that the Codes for the Fuji site work on everything.

Thanks to the OP. The code still work and save myself a packet on two cameras. The code works on both new and refurbished model, but I chose new as the percentage seemed much higher. Free post as well, brilliant.

There is presently also £30 cashback availabel on f300exr. Just look on google or click
