It doesn't: "A maximum of one Reward will be applied to your Amazon.co.uk account regardless of the number of Qualifying Items purchased. • The maximum benefit you may receive from the Offer is £4."

People don't understand how to use the heat system. If it a deal for an item that's not to their taste, they vote cold. I had the same on a good deal I posted just because people didn't like the product, it went - 200. Sadly HUKD doesn't seem to bothered that a lot of people use the heat system incorrectly.
it states that i would get £4 amazon pantry credit whether i buy 1 or 2. would i be better off buying one and use the £4 credit to buy the other one rather than buy two of them at the same time?

does amazon pantry work credit in this way?

Not everyone can get prime now, everyone can get prime, on that basis this deal is available to a much larger audience so statistically it will get more positive votes. Plus maybe the extra £9 is a big deal to some folks, maybe storing 3 packs for some folk is an issue, who knows, there'll be lots of reasons why people are in a different position to you. There's no wrong or right way to vote it's just someone's opinion for many reasons - here it gave you a lower heat deal, in the US they ended up with trump

Don't worry, I don't lose sleep over it and I don't post deals that often for it to bother me.

I will highlight that the point remains that people are voting using the wrong criteria. Best price is the one and only criteria. If you can't personally take advantage of the deal (e.g. because the offer is in a local store 200 miles away, prime now, etc.), don't vote rather than vote cold for the wrong reasons and potentially deny someone who might have prime now from seeing and taking advantage of the deal. I have missed seeing many deals in the past because people have voted because of personal preferences (ios vs android, lease vs buying, don't have costco membership, etc.) rather than price.

Even if we did have strict voting criteria (we don't have any) folk would just ignore/abuse it - I pay little attention to the deal heat and I do my own research if something catches my eye, the community advice to me is much more useful than any subjective voting system.

I generally look at hot deals (I think they have to be over 100 degrees to turn up on this page) as there are so many deals posted on here, I just don’t have the time to look at every post. I guess that is why I care a bit more about the voting. I agree there is nothing anyone on here will do to address voting or even the comments in some posts.
