The fact they are crap is my opinion, which can be fairly debated. The fact of the matter is they are cheap and a good deal for those who do like them so that is why i vote hot :). The opposite to what you say is intact what you should do. You vote based on the deal, not based on the opinion of the product. I don't vote cold on a Blu Ray deal if its a great price and i hate the film - Would you?! If so i think you should stop voting!

Always cloudy marks on all my glasses when i use these ones, as soon as i changed to the quantum ones and the ariel premium ones they were much MUCH cleaner.

Rinse Aid?

Always use rinseaid, checked that first, tried several cycles, cleaned out every part of the dishwasher and still marks. Once i changed it was perfect.

Each to there own I guess, I found streaks with the Fairy tabs, But the Finish All In One work fine for me.

is this a weekend only offer, heat added good price!

Wilko's own brand at £3 for 30 are the best I've ever used. But it has a lot to do with which dishwasher you have anyway.

Thats exactly what I was thinking when s/he stated the Finish didn't work for them.

Mix together 1 1/2 Tablespoons of Baking Soda with 2 Tablespoons of Borax. Use instead of dishwasher detergent, buy those in bulk, works just as well if not better and costs way less than this.

frugalliving.about.com/od/…htm

"Why This Works:

Borax and baking soda are both natural disinfectants and mild abrasives – just what you need to blast away stuck on food and germs. In fact, you may be interested to learn that Borax is a common ingredient in many commercial detergents."

That's my advice, make it up yourself, doesn't take long, way way cheaper. Don't eat the powders unless you're stupid, even if you're stupid remember this > DON'T EAT THE POWDERS.

Bought boxes of 26 finish all-in-one tablets at ASDA in store for 2. Works out the same price per tablet.

Not showing up for me either (Nottingham area).
OP - did you see these instore? If online, do you have a direct link please?

Original Poster

It was in my local store, maybe yours run out of stock already be quick, these packs are 26+26, found in the middle where they have special offers not in the usual place for dishwasher tablets

I bought a ton of the 13pack for £1.04 when it was this price in Tesco Express around 6 months back. Works out almost similar price. If you cannot get this deal, look out in our local Tesco express - it might be marked as £4.15 but used to scan at £1.04.

They have an offer for normal 26 pack for £3.99 "46% off" at mine. *But* "100% extra free" packs from the offer a few weeks ago scan at 3.99 as well! (Marked up as £7.50). Im guessing this is what the O.P. found.
As the last poster says look for the 26+26 pack in the area where they keep the carwash, tights, electronic drums etc rather than the cleaning isle. But, im guessing you will only get em if the store didnt sell all the offer packs.

If it helps as of 10 minutes ago there were 5 boxes left in the Canada Wharf store in Bristol Road. (Am tempted to get a few more for this price though!)

Not in my local

not in cardiff

I've never had any trouble with any dishwasher tabs I use - I just look out for good deals like this one or buy own brand. I don't use salt or rinseaid either. Currently getting good results with Aldi tabs but found Tesco Value ones fine too.

Maybe because we're blessed with soft water AND I don't fill the dishwasher with 'leftovers' still on the plates like some do?

You should always rinse before washing.... either by machine or manually...Don't clog your machine
Always taught commercially to quick rinse... stack on a tray...
then fill bowl/sink and wash....it actually works out you wash Faster

Picked some up in my local on Xmas eve, got some the last time they were on offer as well.
Good price heat added

This was a mistake for your local lidl, it's the smaller boxes for 3.99 and the ones you got are 7.99.

7.99? Its 49p less in the west country! What unlucky area do you live in where lidl shafts you for a extra 49p on these tablets?

The smaller ones are and bigger ones (promotional box, was your 7.99 one a "normal" box or "100% extra free"?) were both marked up as "£7.50" before the discount to 3.99 here, as the larger box is marked "100% extra free" from a recent deal so you get the same £3.99 price on them.
As others are getting the same deal it might be a regional offer (Since its Lidl) esp if your price was more in the first place.

Just bought some of these in Portsmouth store. On the shelf they said £7.49 but scanned as £3.99 at the checkout.

That's the 100% box.

My Lidl was charging £7.99 yesterday.

not in my local 26 for 3.99 instead of 7.50!

asl9791

good price so hot, but shame they are utter crap.

Agreed. I now spend the extra on powder tabs rather than these solid ones that take an hour to just dissolve.

not in my local, so this is not national deal

Only 26 packs in my local

Not showing at this price for me either in Glasgow

£1.60 for 30 in Tescos.
