Just popped in to my local Tesco express Ramsbottom (but may be getting rid of them in all stores?) to buy my collect my free packet of huggies using the coupon I found on HUKD (thanks to Birt3108's post hotukdeals.com/dea…139 ). Thought I'd have a nosey on the reduction shelf, only to find they had reduced all the finish dishwasher cleaners to £1! Bargain!! Plus I had my 10% staff discount so even better!
Bought 4 but there are still at least another 6 I could see on the shelf, if not more.
Worth keeping an eye out for them!

I've never understood these, if your dishwasher get your pots, pans and knifes all clean enough to eat with why does your dishwasher inside need to be cleaned. If the are doing anything I would suggest using them to wash the dishes too :-) down simply because no matter how much they are it's a total waste of money.

You might be right, but I think they're supposed to clean the waste pipes too..

Don't worry, I used to think exactly the same! But then a couple of months back my dishwasher was making a funny noise so when we opened up the pipe bit at the bottom (I not sure the tech name for it!) it was full of limescale, yucky! So started using cleaners (usually go for supermarkets own than a 'brand' to save money!).

That's why some washers need salt added, it's just hard water. So if you already add salt you don't need these, has to be dishwasher salt.

What's the difference?

Well we used fill up the washer with salt every 3 months and bag would last 6 months a year and cost a few quid. I suppose they were not making money of salt so it's been rebranded into a cleaner but all your doing to remove the calcium is softening the water and that's what salt does.

Do they do washing machine cleaners or dryer cleaner? all these also have deal with hard water. People who are in real hard water areas install something on their cold water mains supply I think.

A good deal op, but surely you can't have limescale in the water? In Rammy? You've got lovely soft water. That's reason why we see these types of products reduced in the North West- we don't need em

Aah, now you're talking seriously though, a fairly common sight around here, those kind of products reduced, we see washing machine and iron ones too. No- one buys 'em here. Good tip for you to keep an eye out when you're passing though

That's not good - they should accept any coupon as long as it's valid/right product etc
If I was you I'd take the product and coupon to the customer service desk and get them to do it there - if not, is there any other Tesco's around your area that you could try?

Yes I know I did that and went to customer desk on Wednesday and staff said they did not accept any internet coupons ie mymail only safecoupons.

Anybody had trouble with TESCO LONGTON ? with coupons

Hi Emmylou Just checked MSE Tesco voucher policy and it states it is up to Store Manager if they accept internet and manufacturers coupons so I have emailed Tesco Customer services to see what they say. Again has anybody had issues with Longton Tesco please

Hi Emmylou received email from Tesco customer services and they cant see why LONGTON branch do not accept internet and manufacturers coupons. They are going to look into it and I await reply so will see.
