This mimics a similar deal from Farmfoods about a month ago (not sure if that one's still live). I saw it in Boyes Holbeach branch but I assume it's across all stores.

I think these tablets are just some imitation (they don't do any thing to clean). Finish must be using these as marketing for more expensive versions. But ALDI and LIDL to rescue (even TESCO's own). They are far superior to all of what FINISH have to offer (expensive imitations). Finish is finished!
Classic Powerball though so you need rinse aid and salt so bear in mind the added cost.
I personally only ever buy all in one tablets but I guess this is a good price if you dont mind the faff.

Did you vote this cold? If you did it is to undermine the purpose of this forum. Despite your dislike of the product, many people do buy these tablets ( I personally find them mediocre) and so far as I can tell this price is as good as any out there, so is by definition a good deal. I don't post deals for glory, but I do get annoyed when their visibility is lost because of people's prejudices.

Fair comment but I live in a (very) hard water area and I was advised by a Siemens engineer that I should use salt in my machine whether the tablets I use are all in one or not.
Used these for years until I seen a very cheap deal for Aldi's own tablets on here....they are so much better than these.

I live in a hard water area and Miele told me there was no need to with all in one tablets as there would be too much salt if I did. I guess it’s what works.
Still couldn’t be faffing with rinseaid either. By the time you add decent rinseaid and salt to the above, it’s not such a fantastic deal.
7p each is way too much for these.

Can you let everyone know where you can get them cheaper please? The same brand/type that is.

I can't. I simply wouldn't buy these as they are so ineffective. Much better to get the ones from Lidl which work better and are often cheaper. Better still, keep an eye out for decent offers on Fairy Platinum which are often on offer and way better than these.

You seem to be incredibly defensive about this deal. This may or may not be a cheap price for these. I honestly don't know but I do know that they don't work very well. 7p for a tablet that isn't very good can never be a good deal in my book.

I don't post on HUKD very often but this deal has reminded me why. I don't know if you voted it cold, but many have, not because its a bad price for the item, but because they don't happen to like the item, which doesn't help those that do at all. It happens frequently on here and is a misuse of the forum.
Terrible product, I wouldn’t use them even if they were free as it’s a waste of electricity running the dishwasher. Save your money and buy something else.

It’s good you posted it, and please keep on posting.

I think its great that people are commenting on the efficiency of the product, and it’s a fair number of people who are all agreeing with them being a poor quality product, which should help people decide whether this product is right for them.

I’d rather my post be voted cold if it’s a poor product than it go hot and have people disappointed that the product was terrible.

There is such a thing as false economy and if the general consensus of the penny pinchers of HUKD are saying this is false economy then it’s advice I want to heed.

I agree with you to a point, but the efficacy of a cleaning product is subjective and I would say that voting cold based on opinion not price is to be undermining the spirit of the forum. It doesn't mean you can't comment, as you say.

Don’t let it put you off posting please, but I personally think the way the voting works on here is for a mixture of reasons and works well.

It appears that on this occasion the people have spoken and that’s the way it goes sometimes. Sometimes even real bargains go cold for no reason but thats the way it goes.

My theory is that if I post a deal and it helps one person then it’s worth posting. If you bear that in mind when you post, you’ll always be happy with your posts.

People vote for a number of reasons, and I’d say most likely is that this is downvoted due to better products being available cheaper (also/Lidl) which seems valid and hopefully prevents someone buying a poor product.
I total agree and see your frustrations when posting certain deals and when they go cold.
When I find a good deal I will always check the big guys first (Amazon, eBay, Tesco etc) and the check HUKD and previous posts on the product to see it’s price history.
I have found the image you post for the deal also influences peoples votes. On yours for example, the image shows one box of 110 tables, I would of put a picture of 2 boxes of 110. And in the title I would of put somewhere “(Total 220 Tablets)”.
Try not to post deal to late night or early hours, it will just get missed and not have much traffic, aim for weekends (late morning to afternoon are good times to post).
Don’t let this blip stop you from posting, you’re doing a great job.
It’s all about timing and presentation of your post!

Thank you for your support - it is appreciated, but as I alluded to in earlier comments, it is really the misuse of the forum that frustrates me, people voting cold because of prejudice against the product disregarding that there are people liking the product who would otherwise benefit. I seek no personal glory from posting, it annoys me to think that there are other peoples' posts that may interest me that I miss because of this behaviour. However what can be done about it I just don't know.
