hot as it's a smart tv

Does this have an analogue tuner? For getting sky TV from another room.

Finlux - Google them before you buy, their customer service is now non existent.

thanks, i have just bought one, after having to return a Panasonic eBay outlet that was on here aswell one that turned up broken!

Just bought a 42" for a little bit more and had it delivered the next day even though I ordered at 15:00. Found the customer service to be fantastic as they called me back when I said could they deliver it the following day to tell me that it had been already delivered and left with a neighbour.

I bought two of the 32" smart tv's with wi-fi built in and they are excellent! Nothing touches these TVs for performance, looks and features at these prices! For £149.99 delivered each, its a no brainer.

HEAT!

Brilliant SmartTV for the price..

Model: 40FME242B-T [made by Vestel using newer chipsets]

#1 best seller on amazon for a reason, not just the
low cost.. perfect 2nd room / bedroom / flat setup..

Also on ebay same price with free delivery for those
that like to pay with T'paypal ;-)

Finlux 40" on eBay

just sold mine as it had very poor sound

You'll need to buy a soundbar to make it any good

There aren't many panels that are both slim and sound good in fairness. It's almost an expectation of flat panel TVs now.

Although Finlux aren't as "desirable" as some of the bigger brands out there, they do get some favourable reviews - more so with the more recent sets. I voted hot - it's almost a no-brainer.

£55 extra for the 50 inch too!

It's worth having a look on the Finlux Website too if your after differing sizes

Defo seems worth the money! Fire!

I bought and returned a finlux a few years ago and plumped for a panny plasma in the end. However at this price point you can't quibble. I vote hot.

I believe the sound on these is pretty poor. Can anyone confirm?

I purchased a 32" 3D set for my son at Christmas and it included freeview HD - it is awesome for sub £200.
Quality of tv and its picture is excellent for the price. Had it up and running in 15 minutes.
(Came with 8 free pairs of passive 3d specs too!) Works great too with xbox 360 attached to get smart content.

Sound is poor on most TV sets this thin even sets costing £500 +. Just attach a £10-£15
set of PC speakers and you will have a decent increase in sound quality. Or spend more
on a soundbar or home cinema system - depends on your requirements.

My partner has the non-smart version of this TV. The sound is perfectly adequate for general use. It's no worse than other thin TV"s.
The picture quality on free view HD is excellent. Standard definition is not so great -but then it isn't great on most larger screens. These can record TV programs on to a USB stick too - a feature more expensive brands don't give.
They are a great buy.

I spent most of the day not buying this.... I failed.

Almost went for the 50" on their own site, but figured probably better to go with the newer board.
Hopefully more reliable and less prone to coil whine like the last one I had the misfortune to get.

think its worth mentioning that on there site there selling the 50" version for 229.99 Link to deal

Ah spent too long thinking about it, now the Prime straight from Amazon option is £276.27..! Still available from Finlux as a seller for £199.99 with £4.99 delivery

Still £199.99 delivered on Finlux's own website ( www.finlux.co.uk) . So don't buy through the amazon site now as its £5 more expensive.
