So.... Here's a test. Can we only get responses from people who own one of these? Or have an alternative for similar cash
For £300 it looks a good deal to me, free delivery and 12 month warranty included for that.

I got one of these but a smart tv in January. I know it's not the 3d one. Great picture. Hd very sharp and clear. Paid £369 for this and got another 4 years on warranty for. only £53. Good company. Delivered free and fast. Good communication. Don't be put off by name.
Please note though that you can only record to your USB from freeview which is built in but I don't have an aerial and use virgin so therefore won't record from this. Just a wee heads up.
This is a great price for a 42 inch with 8 pairs of glasses.
Just over a year ago I got a similar 3d tv with a free 3d blu ray player for £500 so this is great.

These TV's are really good value for money, the 3D effect isn’t half bad either.

What puts me off is the cheaply finished piano black frame/bezel. If Finlux/Vestel used the same matt or metal effect finish they use on their bigger sets I would buy one.

It's on their website for £349.99 so this is a bargain.

Don't buy this TV for 3D it's terrible. Loads of ghosting/crosstalk. I bought one from Amazon and sent it back. Apart from that it's an ok TV, not bad for the money. 3D is shockingly bad though.

Got the 32" version 2 months ago. Decided to return under 7 day warranty. Took 2 attempts to collect, sent a replacement 1st time. Took several emails and phone calls to obtain refund, waited two weeks for confirmation plus 5 days for money to hit bank account. Having said that the product seemed OK , initial delivery was next day as promised. I only returned it because it doesn't upscale 2d to 3d so without sky or 3d blu ray no content available.

Compared to some new TVs that does not look very thin

The content is available if you download it and play it via a laptop. 2D to 3D conversion is completely pointless.

To record can you connect an external hard drive (mains powered)? I'd like to connect a 1tb drive to it so wouldn't have to worry about space running out

Had one of these 55inch smart 3d, stay very well clear

Cheap plastic, very bad refresh rate (sword fight scene in die another day was unwatchable with screen tear) sound was soo tinny it gives headaches.

Just a very cheaply made tv, sent it back and bought an LG and very relieved on doing so!

Would not buy this for 3D - great budget TV for your basic **** though - ive heard from finlux owners that they are great and last forever and also that they are **** and die after a year so keep your expectations realistic at this price range is all i can say.

They've never heard of you either so I'd invest in a few more coats to try and keep yourself warm

Really??? it said Bush underneath the Finlux sticker? The Finlux brand is owned by Vestel who make these and make some of the Bush TV's for Argos (Home Retail Group, Argos, own the Bush brand name). I'd be amazed if Vestel just stuck a Finlux sticker over a Bush name plate but if so, that's a bit sloppy of them! (maybe they had loads of unwanted Bush labelled TV's)

But certainly the Bush 42" 3D looks the same argos.co.uk/sta…htm but selling for £100 more
