    Accidently voted cold, apologies
I have a Finlux. 50 inch. Crap TV. Will not buy again if I had the chance. Scratches easily and Ports break off with any pressure. Broke 4 hdmi ports already and am on my 2nd replacement
That's a lot of screen estate for the money! Just measured my chimney breast and it will fit! (just)

what on earth are you doing to break 4 hdmi ports? playing pin the hdmi cable to the hdmi port wearing a blindfold?

sounds like you shouldn't be near a tv, scratching it, breaking hdmi ports..sorry but this strongly points to user error

or could just be a crap tv
I've had a 55 inch one, not smart, for nearly 3 years now and its been great. It was reduced on ebuyer for £400.
No complaints at all, I've had no problems with anything breaking etc - seems like that one chap was just really
unlucky. 65 inch of £700 isn't bad, but due to the type of tv I wouldn't be surprised if it dropped at further £100
    in the next few months.
Seems a bargain for a cinema room. heat
The blacks on this TV are awful, especially watching horror films on it, I wouldn't put it anywhere near a "cinema room", but decent size for the money. I'd preferably go for a better brand at 55-60"~ than this.

    That's a bit racist...
not sure how the 2 compare, or if they use same vestel gubbings but the digihome 65 inch I picked up for 549 a little while back from tesco is a fantastic TV, the blacks are really good and compares well with my other TV Samsung 6400

Hmmm...I'd probably agree that the tones on darker scenes are not very well defined and I was never really impressed with any of the preset options. However, on the manual option you're able to change all of the options and once you've adjusted the brightness, I was happy with it. If I was being picky the volume could be louder, we decided to use a soundbar as our telly has a large open space behind it and so we found we were losing much of the sound elsewhere, the soundbar has helped alot.

Motion blur would put me off, but great price for 65"! Mega Hotty
I can hardly see good HD sharpness on a 32 inches, a 65 must be complete crap. This size will start to get better when 8k format will come out
anyone know if this is wall mountable? been asked to buy for someone but only if it'll go on their wall

asked on live chat and it is

    It'll be LED.
the one I ordered for someone has been delivered already and they are very happy with it so far

they have a couple that cost 3x this and would happily replace one with another of these

will be going to have a look myself sometime this week

What nonsense. He made a perfectly harmless joke highlighting the juxtaposition between the two uses of the word 'black'. Setting the bar for racism at this very low level just makes it harder for us all to get on together.

Did any black HUKD members really find this offensive?
after having a look the one I ordered for someone, I would buy one myself if I needed another large tv however..

they hadn't noticed but it was damaged in transit or somewhere before shipping, the whole thing is bent like a backwards curved tv but isn't at all noticeable when watching it

    http://i62.tinypic.com/xgjgxt.jpg

I've sorted a replacement for them which will arrive tomorrow, arranging that was easy as anything so can't fault their customer service

no idea how that got so bent as it's a very well made strong tv, they are claiming from the courier anyway
you normally pay extra for a curved TV
