Sick to death of waiting for shredder to come back to life after shredding so many papers? These are ideal and this particular model is the cheapest I've seen around... Seems hot to me no pun intended

I've often thought about getting one of these but I'm not sure that its still legal to burn rubbish in the garden? Anyone know?

Brilliant - thanks.

We use our chiminea for burning receipts etc. Smaller than these incinerators and better looking in my opinion. Also we've found that the latter often scorch the surrounding ground whereas we can use the chiminea safely on the decking.

Someone recently nicked my paper recycling bag... I'll teach them with this bad boy

This will get hot

no need to burn anything in this day and age, well not in residential areas anyway

people tend to overestimate how eco-friendly shredded paper is. By cutting through the fibres it is only really useful for low grade paper like newspapers.
I must admit I still shred, but where it's only a small bit of the paper which is sensitive (account number / address) I 'try' to remember to rip that off and only shred that bit

Rustic!
Got a link?

Just go to any garage that does services - give them a bell and ask if you can have an empty oil drum.

Halfords telford told me to help myself and take as many as i wanted. So i grabbed 2.

Just to note that these things can rust through quickly in our usually wet climate, but a good price.

The galvanised finish will come off after you've got it up to heat a couple of times, then it'll start rusting

So you haven't heard of scumbags going through the bins and recycling to find bills and personal data so they can rob you blind. So unless you live in a gated community or in million pound homes you do have to worry and if you do put out stuff with your name and address on you should really worry. They only need a couple of utitlty bill and they can apply for driving licences and other id open credit car accounts and steal your identity. I have to say that this comment is the daftest ive read this month

what are you talking about? you dont' need to burn anything, anyone with a brain knows to shred personal data. I personally bring mine to my workplace as they have confidential waste facility. if you burn your paperwork, then you need to get yourself to present day, Victorian times are over!
