SAFETY!

If you don't buy one of these you want your child to burn to death. You monster.

I used one of these at my first aid training and it is terrifying to approach a fire and wrap it with a blanket in your bare hands, but something tells me you'd go after it like a mean mad mama bear if your baby was in danger!

Thanks got 2 from Lincoln

Available in Swansea

Preston have stock

Stock in Sheffield.

great price for this, but I had fire dept round to do a home safety check on my house, they saw my fire blanket and told me with children in the house don't ever try to put a fire out, just get kids out the house and phone them

Long gone are the days when we used to wrap our children up in cotton wool.

How times have changed ! X)

How long does it take to extinguish a lit baby without one though?

Some sickening comments on here. Obviously haven't got children...

Don't bring humour to vulnerable family members. Period!

I didn't realise the local council sold fire blankets.

Can't see what size this is. IKEA usually do cheap fire blankets, though not as cheap as this, presuming it's a standard size one.

As mentioned, evacuate the house when there's a fire.

I use fire blankets when I am welding or using the angle grinder during car restorations, so they do have other uses.

Good to have close to the kitchen for small pan fires.

Not sure if...

When I first saw this I thought it was a 'toy' fire blanket for a kid's toy kitchen to promote fire safety to youngsters

I wouldn't bother with any of these Toys r Us "deals" reserved 2 in 2 days and both stores called to say "nah we haven't actually got any of these, the website is wrong" - talk about taking the p..!!

can I just add that the fire service carry out free home visits to elderly and at risk.smoke alarms, bedding and advice is given for free.

Thanks was looking for one of these for my portable wood burning stove will make a good barrier between tent fabric

I agree. Humour presents a choking hazard and is dangerous for babies. Babies should be raised in a strictly stoic environment.

Personally I'd buy this product. Great for when I start teaching arc welding to my three-month-old.

Good price heat added!
