things like this at a cheap price concern me greatly

if they are not certified or kite/British standard marked or regulated i wouldn't like to rely on them in an emergency situation to protect me or whoever's using them

As above, no British standard markings. Haven't even tried faking its safe to use on a fire. Probably should be marked as toy.
