Fire TV Cube lets you put down the remote and dive straight into your favourite films and TV programmes with the sound of your voice. You can choose from over 200,000 films and TV shows from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and other online streaming service. It's also the only streaming media player that lets you control your compatible satellite box, so you don't have to run multiple systems at once. And with the included Alexa Voice remote, you can control your TV without making a sound.

When the TV is off, you still have full access to Alexa. Just ask to turn off the compatible lights, stream music, and much more. Even if you're across the room, the 8 microphones will be able to hear you from any direction. Or if you want some privacy, you can disconnect with the press of a button.

Optimised for 4K Ultra HD streaming, the Fire TV Cube also brings HDR to your screen. Intensify colours, highlight details, and make every part of the picture clearer.

Still not worth buying. Sent mine back after 5 days. Very buggy, very non responsive. You'd be much less frustrated and save £30 still buying the 4K firestick and an echo dot.

That's not good, brilliant price for the s922 chip in it.
It's new on the market so maybe in time, software updates will mend the issues.
Had mine about a month i love it no problems here, great voice control also comes with Ethernet connection love it.

Exellent price.

Worth watching Paul Hibbert's review on YT.... not a rated box from his viewpoint.

That's the thing, the main issues will get sorted via software updates hardware wise it's great. I just didn't wanna hang around for whenever those updates come. Nvidia releasing the shield a few weeks later played a big part of me returning too, I bought that instead.

One of my fave YT guys to watch in terms of smart home tech. Says it how it is if something isn't great you'll bet he will tell ya.
Ordered, great price.

5 star review from WhatHifi and 4.5 stars at Techradar. I'll hedge my bets thanks.
I've heard lots of people saying it's not worth the extra money. I personally (imho) recommend a 4k stick. They are the fastest and should you want an ethernet connection you can buy an adaptor for peanuts. You don't need a 4k TV to support it either. I have both a HD and a 4k ultra HD TV and works perfectly well on each. £29.99 is a no brainer unless they perfect the software on the cube. Even then I'd only purchase if on an offer.
Hopefully that helps some of you.
I bought one a couple weeks ago from Amazon with the idea of getting it priced matched or sending it back of it got reduced.. time to talk to amazon.

Truthfully, there is little difference between this and the 4k stick.

Only buy one if you want to use voice control/turn on tv ect but even then it's faster to use the remote.

I only own a cube because it's the only one that outputs dolby atmos audio via Netflix.
I prefer a 4K Android TV box running Android TV with Google Assistant & voice control as at least you can load Kodi & Mobdro onto that

No doubt they can be better for some things, but these from Amazon work well for the price. Kodi and mob can be sideloaded onto these and works nicely.
