Fire & Stone is in Covent Garden so is quite expensive usually. The Raspberry Bellini (prosecco cocktail) that is included would normally be £8 and the main courses are £10-£12.

Maybe not such a great deal then if you don't get 2 dinners and 2 puddings

Looks delicious- If you don't have anyone, can you go there and eat both dinners and desserts?

Went last night, Bombay was nice but New York was very bland. At full price I'd rather eat at Pizza Express

Not a bad pizza........ a bit smaller than say Pizza Express or Prezzo … Not a bad pizza........ a bit smaller than say Pizza Express or Prezzo but hat suited me.Considering they were "full" and turning people away only about 60% of the tables were being used (at 5.30) pm. Cheers OP.

I think all the tables were already reserved. I went today, it was pretty good. Never have I seen so many staff in a restaurant though!

Cheers OP.

Al Forno was really nice, but Sopranos on Palmerston Road blew its socks off. I'd go so far as to say that Sopranos is the best restaurant in Southsea (if not Portsmouth). Always busy too - I'd fathom they had something to do with the decline of Al Forno rather than people not supporting local restaurants.

Anyway, I'm booked up for Thursday - thanks

yeah i know what you mean, I went there 2 or 3 times for their lunch menu, as I'm a student down here it was good to go during lunch as it they had their £4 lunch menu which was decent!
