Thank u :-D

Might want to change from national to local deal (probably explains cold votes)

They should not be allowed to sell them in shops. I believe that there should only be organised displays.Apart from people getting injured by the fireworks, it can cause accidents when dogs and cats bolt in front of a car because they are scared. I have 5 dogs and they are terrified of them. At one point fireworks were only set off on bonfire night, now it is all the time - they were even setting them off for halloween

I agree they should be done in parks far away. My baby daughter gets scared at night

Dogs & cats should be grateful they are pets with all those comforts. If they don't like our culture they should go back to where they came from. v

The Halloween displays were because bonfire night fell mid week this year.

Diwali was only a couple of weeks ago too, so shops would have been stocking them quite early this year.

They should just ban firecrackers/bangers, the ones that just go 'fizzle!' are fine. Obviously if you have 5 dogs then there is a 99% chance you cause more annoyance to your neighbours all year round than you get yourself from fireworks.

Why is my post cold..i thought it was a good deal

I much prefer my home display, I have good food, good company, great experience and get a great view and can do things at my pace. The organised displays are rubbish IMO, cramped (to the point of being dangerous), rubbish over priced food, poor parking, poor atmosphere and poor views.

Home displays every time for me.

I can guarantee that you are 100% wrong there! I have 5 rescued greyhounds who are very quiet, placid and sensitive dogs. I can be in the kitchen and will later find a card through the door to say someone has tried to deliver a parcel - I haven't heard them and my dogs don't bark. We put them in the van to take them over the fells to excercise them, so they are certainly not fouling the footpaths, they cause my neighbours absolutely no annoyance, in fact they comment they never hear them! Please get your facts right before making assumptions.

They stated 99% chance, not 100%. Therefore you could fall into the 1%.

You stated incidentally that they were 100% wrong, which on the basis of the above statement is absolutely wrong!

Aww. Cancel Xmas too its way too inconvenient.

The fireworks are fine - It's a fair amount of the people that use them that aren't....

Unfortunatley you cannot refuse sale on the grounds of stupidity. (UKIP supporters would starve!)

As for the whole dogs issue - The sheer amount of owners I see when I'm out on my bike letting their dogs crap everywhere and not pick up is ridiculous...

Cue someone moaning about cyclists...:P
