Go Sainsburys instead! Buy beer, don't waste your money.
I wish it was limited to organised displays as my daughter has autism and goes through hell this time of year as I am sure many others do, you always hear about the stress to animals but the stress on people with additional needs truly can be hell. I’m not a kill joy but a good fireworks display is not achieved by some crappy supermarket bought fireworks that morons set off for months. Should be limited to proper organised displays only.
Can't believe all this hate for fireworks?.....I for one will be buying some of our own. Nice being in ones own space, with your warm home metres away.

I haven't heard any as of yet, my dog died years ago and I love a firework.....especially the anti climatic, overpriced variety sold by our supermarkets

A bit harsh. A good flogging should suffice.
Oh I forgot, that's now illegal...

Seriously though it does appear to me that over the past six decades the way people treat others has sadly declined, as has the level of respect and tolerance.

But then again, I do remember as a kid in the 50s that there was a marvellous sense of achievement in the effect that a 3d banger had on a fresh cowpat and tying a smaller banger to a rocket made a pretty good mortar for sending into neighbours gardens so I musn't be a hypocrite.

Don't think its harsh. What would you think if it was your 80+ mother/grandmother on the receiving end?
Go to an organised charity display and do some good with your money.

Buy some ear defenders

She has some but short of wearing them 24/7 they are only useful on bonfire night as unfortunately round where we live they go off all the time I mean literally at anytime, had about 14 so far today. And it has been like that for at least the last three weeks.
