nice guinea pig..........do you want another?
:whistling:

B&Q have (or had?) very similar Kidde "Night Hawk" CO detectors in store for £10. They may be older stock than these ones though.

We have 2 of these - bought at this price last year! one near to gas boiler and near to the gas tumble drier. Every home with gas should have one - for peace of mind......... Because I am an incredible worrier I also take one on holiday with us! Yep I am completely neurotic................

I'm a Corgi Gas man and anyone who moans about this deal should go and check their other half's life insurance.... I have to buy these all the time so the price of a drinks round, or save the lives of people in your home..........No contest !
Great price as these (not same model or company) are normally between £20 - £100
Headaches,
Nausea ,
Feeling sleepy,
Death,,,,,,
I think that's the order..........
Take your pick.

Edit : 23.30 Just been to the site and it's a 2 week wait , without any mention of the deal being the same then.

Just wondering why the pic shows a £9.99 Blood Pressure Monitor? :?

Feel free to correct it, I am useless at linking images, the blood pressure thing came up automatically- weird I know!

i've got one of these, which went off over the new year.
it turns out the chinmey behind the fire is blocked and carbon moxide was building up in the room. should be fine again once the chinmey is swept..
worth every penny.

Postage £3.95. Please add to top post. Free if you spend over £20.

I think in the one's I bought it said they should be sited at least 5 metres from the boiler or gas fire.

Thanks I did mean in the vicinity - not on top! Sorry my post may have been misleading to others!

Totally agree, 7 turkish students died all in the same house due to this lethal poisoning.

`PS: can someone tell me if this has a max life. We bought a British Gas one, after the 5 years you throw it away.

Started beeping just under 5 years.
