A long journey single ticket on first bus is usually £2.70.
If you download the First bus M Ticket app it`s possible to buy 10 single tickets for £18, which obviously works out at £1.80 each.
Once loaded to your phone the tickets stay there for up to a year .
Good savings for people like me who get the bus into town and don't know if its the last bus home or a taxi.

I think you find there is a discount on return journeys, well here in cornwall at least. Thoe, what i remember it is not a huge saving. Then i got a bus pass, so i count answer what the current rates where.

Leeds only???

It's all areas. You select when buying tickets.

It's £4 on a lot of journeys in Manchester area (same as day ticket), so a very good saving.

£19.50 in Aberdeen..

Great find i hate sitting next to people on the bus £18 to sit and let it all hang out well worth it heat

Icipher

£19.50 in Aberdeen..

Typical. Everything's more expensive here!

Don't think so, its definitely not Bristol anyway.

It's good deal but be aware they expire after 3 months if like me you are an occasional user .

wish they did my route as we have 4 or 5 companies depending on time of day and which route as am midway between several towns and our tickets expire after 28 days Shame they cant come up with a fairer system for all areas as would help rural people when looking for jobs,. especially when expected to travel for 2hours either way for jobs.

In Leeds the First bus single tickets definitely last for 12 months, although the first day tickets do only last 3 months.

When I say all areas, they were many First bus areas to choose from which are:
Aberdeen, Bath and Bristol, Berkshire, Bradford, Buses of Somerset, Calderdale and Huddersfield,Devon, Doncaster,Dorset, Glasgow shuttle, Greater Glasgow, Greater Manchester, Hampshire, Ipswich,Kernow, Leeds, Leicester,North and Mid Essex, Heathrow Railair, Rotherham, Sheffield, South Essex, The Potteries ( where is that?), Universty of east Anglia, Worcester and Hereford and York.

Just noticed that my single ticket covers me for anywhere in West Yorkshire, not just Leeds.

Only a decent saving if you know you're only going to use the ticket as a single trip.
Use it both ways and it's £3.60, which is still a saving but then you can't use it on other First Manchester buses.

Can't see this as an option in Cornwall (Kernow). Ticket types and prices are different in each region so assume its only certain areas. Max single fare here is £5

Wish I could get something like this in my area - fed up with finding change each day.

A first day saver in greater manchester and surrounding areas is only £4 so no saving there for this !

It's only for student buses in Bath at the mo in the Bath / Bristol area (as far as I can see). Shame as it seems a great idea, but not voting either way as I can't use it. Hopefully we will see it on all buses soon!

Haven't downloaded the app but according to the site does NOT include York. No option in the list of available tickets to purchase these.

Just looked on my phone and you are correct. Tickets are available for York but it seems only First day, week, month or Student.

It seems to vary from place to place.

park and ride is usually cheaper from memory and doesn't stop along the route
