This seemed like a decent price to me, you can often pay more for business class!
There are various christmas and new year dates available which are outlined below. There may be more dates available too. Credit Secret Flying for some of the dates below. All flights involve one stop in each direction at LHR (please note that Inverness to London will be in business class as there is no first class on this regional route). 3 pieces of checked luggage are allowed per passenger.

Inverness, a 7hr+ drive for us. Or £250 on the train 😔
not that Im travelling first class any time soon but it made me wonder what the direct from LHR prices were....and then looked further - you can get Manchester or Leeds instead of Inverness for a couple of hundred quid more on some of the routes

if the price was to go up £250 it is still a massive bargain and the train journey up in is lovely its the time and aggro if I knew they would short check my luggage coming home would book in a heartbeat, I have never asked them to short check in business but they are funny in about it in WTP and WT
£1250 for Baltimore

Any issues if you didn't do the final leg, Heathrow to Inverness?

You'd pay £2k to be stuck in a flying tin can for half of your waking day?? And don't say they have beds, because then it's just the most expensive sleep you'll ever have
Its usually more expensive to fly from scotland, dont k ow how its workjng out cheaper to fly on above deal.

From the other Inverness deal on here lately we learned that the Inverness Airport is exempt from UK Air Passenger Duty.
Just over a month ago, I flew BA to Mexico City on a new 787-900 plane. Outbound was Business class and got an upgrade to First on the return.

Overall, the experience was underwhelming. Business felt claustrophobic with 7 seats in a row (alternate seats facing backwards, windows completely blocked by the privacy barriers) compared to most other airlines who have 4-6 seats. First was a lot better but felt more like a high end Business class compared to other airlines. Service was good on both flights.

Maybe I have been spoilt by the likes of Emirates and Qatar but I don't think BA has a competitive product.

Not if you ask for your luggage to be unloaded at Heathrow, you have the option to.
Heat added. Last time i was in Inverness the Airport was tiny & had very few flights other than to London etc. Amazing how times change. Great deals.
