A slow.burner but a good watch.

Oscar®-winning director Damien Chazelle and star Ryan Gosling reteam for the riveting story behind the first manned mission to the moon, focusing on Neil Armstrong and the decade leading to the historic Apollo 11 flight. A visceral, intimate account told from Armstrong’s perspective and based on the book by James R. Hansen, the film explores the triumphs and the cost on Armstrong, his family, his colleagues, and the nation itself for one of the most dangerous missions in history.

This needs to be a slow burner.

I think I've watched virtually every single programme on every channel this week dedicated to the moon landing
Great film. I’d also highly recommend going to see Apollo 11 at any IMAX near you that’s showing it, it blew me away.

Think it’s on sky from this Saturday so not long to wait.
I couldn't watch it as it was too slow.
I'm going to watch this movie - eventually - I've been listening to all sorts of podcasts and documentaries for the last week or two.

Watched/watching this from liftoff - wonder what the flat earthers make of this site? apolloinrealtime.org/11/

I'm nearly 13 hours in, and the crew are about to go to sleep officially - they don't swear as much as I thought they would (Collins does say something about "dicking in the tunnel", fnar) but mother, damn and crap are about it.
