Our one from home bargains also plays chinese and Korean then English too!
If this is the one I think it is, the tunes will be seared into your brain for the rest of your life.

I've got this one but I do not know where from. Mine only plays in English:) but is Fisher and looks identical. The package was identical too. Very strange about yours, perhaps Fisher was asked to do equal opportunities, lots of Chinese in the UK:). It seems you're specialised on baby toys now, I wonder why:)). Voted hot anyway!

I only remember the design of the box and looked the same, but I have not noticed the Chinese writing. I think perhaps they did these for the Chinese market, probably too expensive for Chinese to buy and B&M bought the whole lot at a fraction of the price.
Something smells fishy here
I believe it is Genuine. It is written in Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional) that the toy is bilingual. But the English doesn't say it's bilingual.

I tested it in store, it plays in mandarin Chinese then English. Which i would guess its a selling point in the chinese market.
