Tempted to buy 1 but it's not going be used till next year or later, according to Mothercare site from 6mths approx, then just be laid about, kind of big box.

Does anyone already have this? Don't know how much use my daugter will get out of it, she's nearly 8kg.

I've checked the reviews on Amazon and Mothercare, and lots of people are praising it.

Suitable for babies from 6-15mths, max. weight 11kg (25lbs) and no taller than 85cm

thats the suitability in terms of weight and height.

Amazon have it for £3 more, but that would include delivery for me,which is better than collecting from instore,or paying Argos delivery, but it's pre order only,I would like one but not till my baby is here, and then I would need put away for Xmas cos wouldn't get used till next year and will be a big box to store until then really. It's an expensive item just to have laid around without use for so long in box I think.

6 months?? id check another site hun
I got the original one and my son used it from about 17 weeks maybe younger They say 3 months /when they can sit up un aided. I know he was so short we had to put cushions under his feet so he get the idea you have to bounce.

He was short for his age but by 12 months he was tall , the jumperoo is brillant really strengthens leg muscles. He walked unaided at 8 months and was really confident at 10 months.

My 14 month is still in it if that helps and he is quite a tall, heavy baby. The original one, but the same thing.

Thanks, it does x

Hot price - we bought one last week at this price for our wee boy. He will be 17 weeks tomorrow, but totally loves this toy already - looks like a great investment after only five days!

Note that this is the "Precious Planet" Jumperoo (the newer model which i believe was only released a few weeks ago), which superceeds the Rainforest jumperoo - It is the older version that is for sale on Amazon.

Most of the reviews are for the Rainforest model, but only because the Precious Planet model is so new, but personally speaking I don't think there's much between choosing which model to buy, other than your own personal preference.

We got our son the rainforest one a couple of years ago and he loved it, he got too big for it when he was about a year old.

Excellent find - I've been looking for one of these for a decent price. Reserved to collect! Heat added.

We to have the rainforest version for our boy. He loved it. Used it most days from 6 months onwards. He's 11 months and still uses it. Heat from me as it's a good price.

I got this last september - brought it all the way back from america!- my boy was 4 months then , he is just over a year now and loves it, watches tv in it, eats in it and he sleeps in it too, screams when we take him out!

My daughter used this from 3 months until she was about 6 months old. She loved it during that time, but as soon as she could sit up on her own she hated being stuck in it. I'd advise to get one second hand as it's a lot od money for not a great amount of use.

Heat added and bought for my little 3 month old!

I highly recommend this for little ones - our 5 month old loves hers, one of the best things we bought.

I have one of these for my daughter - she is 6 months and has been in it since she was approx 3 months old and loves it. It has really strenghened the muscles in her legs too

Picked one up today, daughter loves it!

This is my DS in his at 3 months, ]LINKY, I got it free off my sister who got it cheap off a car boot so it has proved a true bargain. He loved it until about 8 months old as he was too tall n heavy and couldn't really bounce and by then was wanting to crawl places instead of being stuck bouncing.

Have to say when wife wanted to buy this I thought it would be a waste of money, at nearly £90, managed to get it for £67 in mothercare, and without doubt it is the best purchase we ever got for our twin girls. Actually wish we had bought it sooner, cos we didn't get it until they were 10 months. They both love it!

Awww bless sooooo cute! Thanks for sharing.

My son used his until 7/8 months as said as soon as he was mobile himself he hated being in it.

He walked unaided at 8 months and i swear he walked early because of this as he has lovely little strong legs. By 10 months he was very confident on his feet.

But at 5/6 months i found it invaluable as a safe play to put him , if i had to go to door etc. He was happy and safe and thats number 1
